Does this sound like religious ocd/ Scrupulosity?

Hello folks, I'm a newspaper boy. I once bought dirty potatoes, laid them in the cart where I put the newspapers in. My fear is that on the potatoes were human parasite eggs, which are transferred to the cart, when transferred to the newspaper, from there to the fingers of someone who could it, who could transfer it into his mouth and gets a parasite. I'm Christian, and I'm struggling with this, even I can't pray that the people won't get worms because I actually find it too unlikely that someone would catch a parasite. But how would God act if someone did? And I KNEW that there's possibily, even so low. I cried because of it.

This does sound similar to what OCD is. However your intention was not to give them a parasite, but if I'm reading this correctly you are just concerned that your actions could lead to them accidentally getting one (though the odds are extremely low and vanishing). So two things. If this was your intention, repent, we are all sinners and have all done evils like this, even intentionally. God's grace however is superior and this sin, along with all others, can be charged to the cross and left as far is the east is from the west. If this was not your intent and you are worried about it happening merely by accident, while we should do what we can to prevent people from getting hurt, we cannot control all circumstances, nor do we have the foresight of God. So do your best to act as so to keep a clear conscious but if what you are speaking off, these thoughts, if they won't leave you even after good reasons for them too, then it may be OCD related. There are some online tests and questionaire's you might consider looking into. It may also be good to seek a professional who would be better suited to make this determination. I would seek a professional who's a Christian however or they may not be able to understand the full equation.
