These are not deductive arguments, as has been pointed out. They are inductive arguments, and I need a lot more coffee before I try to tackle whether they are valid or not. I do not like inductive arguments.

Neither viewpoint is inductive. Both viewpoints one and two are based on a general premise. Note: "Problems/difficulties are what makes marriage "hard"." and "Problems/difficulties are what make marriage interesting, and when a problem comes up you find the solution." The conclusion(s) is also tied to marriage. (one might change viewpoint two into an inductive argument if the parenthesized "or life in general" was taken as the conclusion. If that were the case then the view would be a hasty induction which is a logical fallacy.

Regardless, logical entailment applies to both inductive and deductive arguments. There is no entailment.

The conclusions make logical sense to me. However, I do think that you should realize that these are not the only possible conclusions. One could easily see difficulties in a marriage as what makes a marriage interesting but still say that the marriage is hard as an example.
