I saw this and found it interesting because I had always thought the opposite, [Based on assumption from what I had heard] So I thought I would share and see what you think?

Question: "Does the Bible indicate that, in the end times, people will not be able to recognize the different seasons?"

Answer:
This question is usually framed something like this: "Does the Bible say that in the last days, you will not be able to know the seasons except by the changing of the leaves?" We had been asked this question many times and had done extensive research into its origin, but had never been able to find the source of the idea. Recently, someone helped us find the origin of the concept. Evidently, it comes from the “3 Days of Darkness” prophecy of Padre Pio, a Roman Catholic priest. The exact quote appears to be, “You will know when that time is approaching because the seasons will change so the only way you will know the seasons is by the leaves on the trees.”

This “not knowing the seasons except by the leaves” concept is not biblical. In fact, there are verses in the Bible which actually teach the opposite. Genesis 8:22 declares, "As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease." Matthew 24:32-33 exclaims, "Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that the end is near, right at the door." See also Jeremiah 33:20-25. With these Scriptures in view, the idea of the seasons being indistinguishable in the end times does not have any biblical foundation.

You are right the OP question has no Biblical support.

No it does not say that. It does, allegorically, point us to the fig tree, which some say is the Nation of Israel.

Matt. 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

This “not knowing the seasons except by the leaves” concept is not biblical.
I'm wondering why it was brought up - the 'source'/story as far as I know and believe was not ever Christian and not Biblical, as others have already posted showing it is not in line with what the Bible says at all.

p.s. does ANY religion believe the story is true, in spite of it being contrary to all Scripture ? If not, the original location of the thread is more appropriate I think, if no religion believes it is true about the end times.

Read the article and found it interesting as I had always "heard" that the seasons would be unrecognizable and I never questioned it ?
Where did you ever hear that? I have always heard and thought that God made the seasons and they would always follow one another like also as written:God will cause the sun will always come up in the morning.....

Just raised up hearing it I don't necessarily remember where I have heard it.
Maybe vaguely like the skies will be black/ darkened for years - no sunshine ......
I don't remember details of this, but it seems likely or possible from the evidence of darkness after volcanic ash fills the skies ..... just don't know if it will be everywhere, but it has happened on smaller scale .....

I have "heard" it all of my life, but never found it in scripture. I always thought that it meant the seasons would do what they are doing today, bleeding into each other.

I didn't realize this >>>

SEASONS

se'-z'nz (summer: qayits, Chaldaic qayiT (Daniel 2:35); (theros; winter: cethaw) (Songs 2:11), (choreph; cheimon): The four seasons in Palestine are not so marked as in more northern countries, summer gradually fading into winter and winter into summer. The range of temperature is not great. In the Bible we have no reference to spring or autumn; the only seasons mentioned are "summer and winter" (Genesis 8:22 Psalm 74:17 Zechariah 14:8).
