Does race factor into who you'd date?

For me it doesn't matter for me as long as she is hot.
Actually, when I was young, I was partial to Japanese girls.
I know a lot of people that have racist families too, and that factors into their choice of a mate even if they're not racist themselves.

Not really, but I do have some preferences. For example, I'm partial to the asian girls, latin girls, and girls from middle east decent. I just find that attractive looking. But, as long as somebody is cool, fun to be around, and relatively good looking, I don't care what color they are.

I've always dated outside my race... that's just what I am pretty much attracted to and seems to be attracted to me. I've never been in a serious relationship with some of my same race.

So I don't have a problem with it. I think personally that interracial relationships are beautiful to see.

I will admit that I don't find many Asian guys attractive (some of them are mad hawt though). I also admit that I tend to pass over black guys because I can't see them being into opera and all the dork things that I am. I haven't met a black guy yet (and no, I'm not racist, bear with me) who doesn't listen to either rap, hip hop, R&B, etc, and I HATE all those genres of music and would go berserk with someone who listened to them.

Having said all that, I have dated guys of many races (white, black, Native American, hispanic) and would have no problem marrying one of them if we clicked and had chemistry.

not really. I know my parents (dad) would probably freak out if I brought home someone of a different race but honestly, I've always been attracted to Latino guys. I embrace my part (however small it is!) Native American background so I don't consider myself totally "caucasian".

Yeah it matters to me.

I've only been in one relationship where race wasn't a factor. This last one that crashed and burned. Before that race had been a factor in virtually every single one. Basically, the parents didn't approve

What's funny is that my son's mom did NOT look white (I used to think she was adopted). She got about as dark as I do in the summer time but her mom still had an issue... I'm like seriously, if skin color is the real problem, then you'd better hate your daughter cuz she looks Puerto Rican too haha.

I am attracted to all sorts of girls but in the end, considering all the problems I've had, I think I would be most comfortable with a Hispanic girl, or like a nicely tanned white girl. But that wouldn't stop me from pursuing a relationship with a girl outside my comfort zone if I felt there was some potential there. I have done it more often than not in the past. My last gf was very pale skinned with blue eyes and reddish-brown hair

Arabic people are Caucasian.

As defined in the Macquarie dictionary:

Caucasian- relating to so-called 'white race'; the peoples of Europe, south-western Asia (a.k.a. the Middle East) and Northern Africa.

It just goes to show how useless racial classifications are. 'White people' can range from looking like Carrot Top here:

I personally don't think race is a big factor. I get warm fuzzies when I see interracial couples...makes me think the world is coming together in accepting each other (let me dream...)
Both my parents have a lot of racists in their families. They don't have a problem with me dating outside my race (I've alway had friends of various ethnicities and I think they've expected it), but they do keep trying to tease me about my boyfriend by referring to him as "your wetback". Not funny! But at the same time they don't actually mind at all that he's latino. They're just hoping his cooking skills rub off on me

Generally speaking, if I like her I'll date her. There are family considerations too (not what you think), and God knows them, and I think He'll keep those in mind with whoever He sends my way.
