No God does not lie. However your question was, "does god lie?" And though you did not specify which one you are referring to, I suppose it is clear that, yes indeed all those little gods lie and do far more than that. But God is incapable of lying!

First of all; No, God does not lie. So long as you believe in him with your whole heart! However; you need to follow your heart because it will open the door to truth as you need to view it.

Obviously you know very little about God, or you would fear Him enough to at least capitalize His Name, as you do your own. Read His Word and you will discover how straight forward He is!
