  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

does god hate satan?
this question came to my mind, google says me yes and not

Does not the Bible say God will have satan cast into a lake of fire, and that he will be tormented day and night, forever and ever? Does that sound like what someone would do to someone they like or love? Clearly God hates him, with a passion beyond belief even. No doubt in my mind anyway.

God is dispassionate.

Does God Hate.....? No. God is Love. God is Light and in Him dwells no darkness.

If I hate my bothers....Im like a murderer......So Why would I attribute this to God?

Psalm 5
4 For you are not a God who is pleased with wickedness;
with you, evil people are not welcome.

5 The arrogant cannot stand
in your presence.
You hate all who do wrong;

6 you destroy those who tell lies.
The bloodthirsty and deceitful
you, Lord, detest.

When Jesus lifts a sinner from the pit of sin, we see the light and want to do His will.

Ephesians 5
8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10 and find out what pleases the Lord. 11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.

God bless you!

Obviously though, the saints that end up living with Him forever, He loves them with a passion. What does this say about the ones that don't live with Him forever, but are cast into the lake of fire instead? Is God able to love, but not able to hate as well?

Satan, the 1/3 fallen angels and all the unsaved are destroyed with the earth at the GWTJ

Revelation 20:7-9 New Life Version (NLV)
Satan Is Destroyed Forever
7 When the 1,000 years are finished, Satan will be free to leave his prison. 8 He will go out and fool the nations who are over all the world. They are Gog and Magog. He will gather them all together for war. There will be as many as the sand along the sea-shore. 9 They will spread out over the earth and all around the place where God’s people are and around the city that is loved. Fire will come down from God out of heaven and destroy them.

Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

If We make our bed in hell....God is there. I'd call that love.

God knows a person's heart. He doesn't give us permission to hate people. He is the Judge.

Some Christians get confused and don't realize they are quoting Ghandi instead of God.

To me it doesn't appear that God is exactly fair in all cases. Yet, what can one do about it if that is indeed the case. Nothing anyone can do about it, that's what. For example, Jesus indicates the Father won't forgive us if we are unwilling to forgive others(Mark 11:26). Perfectly reasonable to me. But at the same time, God apparently doesn't forgive some people if He has them cast into the LOF never to be seen again among the living back on earth. Why does He expect us to forgive people when it appears to me He doesn't always do that Himself?

Take the following, for example.

Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:

It's right there in black and white---hath never forgiveness---yet God expects us to not have never forgiveness towards someone.

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

God can make a sinner a new creation. You must be born again by His Spirit.

Titus 2:14
He gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify us for Himself, a people of His own, zealous of good works.'

Absalom wanted to kill his father and take his throne---just like Lucifer. What was David's reaction?
2Sa 19:4 But the king covered his face, and the king cried with a loud voice, O my son Absalom, O Absalom, my son, my son!
He had to be told to not show nor his grief or the nation would turn on him.
God created a magnificently beautiful creature--and covered him with jewels. He loved him. He is love. But He knows what He must do. It will grieve him to do it, but He can not let sin continue and He will do what He has to do. He loves His creations that have been faithful more.

Another way to look at some of these things, had God not created everything in the manner He did, none of these things could have ever happened to anyone to begin with. Such as the biggest majority of mankind being cast into the lake of fire in the end. Why even create these things to begin with, where it not only involves suffering in this life, but suffering in the next life as well, in regards to the biggest majority of mankind being cast into the lake of fire in the end, if He already knew that before He created things?
