No offense, but I pray what I am LED to pray . . I cannot possibly
cover everything & everyone even tho I want nobody in this
entire world to get hurt or killed by anybody else.

If someone wants to pitch a fit that I care more about infants
going to slaughter, then have at it.

Ummm, I was agreeing with you that you were going to pray. I was not disagreeing with you. So why are you getting angry with me?

Not angry w/ you at all =0)

I just felt there was some intimidation being cast by
others here as to who needs prayer -
I was just stating emphatically that I pray for who
I'm led to pray for and that the innocents who are
slaughtered daily are my priority since they have
NO choice but to be at that facility where mom
takes them.
A worker has every choice to be there and was
already given a right to life that others are not.

Sorry if it seemed like that was aimed at you,
I do that alot in my posts just fyi: use a persons
post to reply then do a general statement after.

I should be more careful about that!

Y'all should really come to the clinic I escort at. You'd be soooooo proud of your fellow pro-lifers. They managed to get the cops called on them yesterday for not allowing patients to leave and for verbally harassing the escorts. I have never had more horrible things said to me by people who purport to be men and women of God.

Also, and this is meant as a serious question, what is the deal with the Catholic superiority complex? I witnessed 5 Lutheran protesters come up to the 16 Catholic protesters who were already there, and they were turned away because "God only listens to the prayers of the True Church" (yes that is a DIRECT quote). Wouldn't you all be happy with 21 people milling around outside the clinic than 16?

Our clinic has a large evangelical group and a large Catholic presence. There is so much infighting over who is REALLY a christian that we escorts are sometimes spared a lot of insults. One weekend the loud Catholic quasi-celeb screamed at one of the evangelicals for only having 3 kids and obviously using birth control until the evangelical left....then the following weekend we had the evangelicals on either side of the clinic lot screaming scripture that "supports" the idea that catholics are the anti-christ.

It's so terribly sad....because all of that is constantly promoted as the actions of "good christians".

Pray that all they do in His name is righteous and does not make a mockery of God.

There are christian churches that support a woman's right to choose abortion..of course you get around this by declaring that they are "not real christians". How easy for you.

"A nation or civilization that continues to produce soft-minded men purchases its own spiritual death on the installment plan. "(MLK)

Continue to draw everyone outside your circle because your church said so...buy your churches death on installment plan. I had the bumper sticker "don't pray in my school and I won't think in your church"....and that's exactly the way some churches...that produce the soft minded....would like to have it. At one stage of development my children liked to sit in a chair..safely buckled in...and be spoon fed whatever I felt like they should have. They kicked their feet and squealed...they were so content. And then they grew up and had their own mind and wouldn't settle for just anything. I guess not everyone enters that stage of development. So if you are placated by believing "they are not real christians"...more power to you...buy your own spiritual death. It's certainly easier than trying to dialogue and understand why or how someone would call themselves a Christian and get to the point where they could say abortion was morally, ethically and theologically a valid choice to make.

Really? Pardon my ignorance. NAME ONE.

lux:
I think that's incorrect. I'm ELCA Lutheran and the church officially takes a pro-choice stance.
I stand corrected.

The Lutheran Church who has adopted Herodian philosophy or behaviour can no longer be called a Christian Church. Real Christian churches don't support genocide. The ELCA has fallen down at the feet of the Dictator of Moral Relativism. That may explain why so many have left to become Catholic. The ELCA, to support abortion the way it does, encourages human sacrifice to false gods, namely, the god of self will. The ELCA cannot possibly be a Christian Church and encourage genocide. That is as insane as Isrealites electing a Nazi dictatorship.

you previously said (post 22)
You know, it's funny, today I was working as a clinic escort outside our local Women's Clinic, and I noticed something...the pro life protesters actively sought out every white woman that came in there, less actively sought out the latina women, and completely ignored the black women. What does THAT say?

It says you make selective and unsubstantiated conclusions about people who care about the human unborn babies (you want to see murdered) and have decided they are racists based on a preconceived notions, or you have only weak arguments and are lieing. THAT is what you say.

You are making unsubstantiated conclusions about the morality of pro-lifers and their alleged selective attention given to certain races.

^^ Told ya! lol

I'm a member of the UCC church....I know, according to you, not a real christian church. I was recruited to be a clinic escort volunteer during Sunday service. Real Christian churches also don't play hide the pedophile. Is that really the dialogue we wish to have on this forum? Who can finger point at each others denominations? Who has the most dirty laundry? That's a real ugly road,imo....and not productive and really only playing to our least common denominator. Do you think we could have a discussion without slamming each others church?

It's the culture of death that needs fingers pointed at it, and slaying babies in the name of Jesus? Please.

Abortion permitted in the churches is an abomination to the Sovereignty of God, who is the author and giver of life, not you, not the governmment, and not your church leaders.

I will dummie this down with precision so I am not misquoted:

The UCC and the ECLA are not God.

We were talking about my Church until you brought it up. This thread is about races and abortion. It's not a matter of which denomination is the most morally compromised, its a matter of which denomination is morally compromised in its teachings. Morality has nothing to do with what religion or denomination you are in. Violating the Commandments of God has consequences no matter what they believe.

Not once have I ever attacked anyone, but I will attack the lies they have been fed, and who is feeding them.

Christian churches teach that human beings are sacred. All of us. The unborn are human according to the Bible and this was clearly and forcefull driven home on the other thread that you abandoned.

I checked the stats. White women in America get more abortions than blacks, but stats in one country pales in comparison to the gastly truth about the rest of the world.

The U.N. has been working hard to flood Africa with contraceptives. There is a certain phenomenon that takes place when this happens. Whenever any given society is introduced to contraceptives, the unwanted pregnancy rate goes up, along with STD's and divorce. But hey, if the drug companies can cash in on huge contracts selling AIDS medication, what's a few million dead babies? Guess what continent has the highest AIDS stats?

No way the contraceptives could be an attempt to slow the spread of HIV huh?

An attemt, yes, but a dismal failure. Contracetives have actually fuelled the spread of AIDS, and the U.N., controlled by the Nazi/Marx philosophy of Planned Parenthood, is at their helm.

Harvard Aids expert supports Pope's stance on contraception

by Anne Thomas
Friday, March 20, 2009, 12:48 (GMT)

A leading Aids expert from Harvard University has come out in support of comments made by the Pope Benedict XVI suggesting that the distribution of contraception actually spreads rather than prevents Aids.

Edward C Green, the director of the Aids Prevention Research Project at the Harvard Center for Population and Development Studies, said that research into the spread of AIDS actually supports the position of the Catholic Church and the Pope.

He said, "The Pope is correct… the best evidence we have supports the Pope's comments," reports National Review Online.
"There is a consistent association shown by our best studies, including the US-funded 'Demographic Health Surveys', between greater availability and use of condoms and higher (not lower) HIV-infection rates...
