  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Does god Forgive for any commandments broken?

Does god forgive if you don't keep a few of his commandments?

Of course He does! Just ask Him and trust He is faithful to keep His promises.

He knows your struggles as a human being and sympathizes with your condition. He died for all your sins even those you made after you became a believer in Christ.

Christianity is about entering into a relationship with God. A love of, and relationship with the God of the Heavens and the Earth.

The deeper you get into the relationship (a relationship you develop through prayer and time in the Word) the easier everything becomes.

Remember Jesus said my yoke is light and burden easy.

Proverbs 28:13 Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.

Acts 26:20 I preached first to those in Damascus, then in Jerusalem & throughout all Judea & also to the Gentiles, that all must repent of their sins & turn to God—and prove they have changed by performing deeds in keeping with their repentance.

Certainly...depending upon a sincere act of repentance on our part.

Violating any of the Commandments is a sin just like any other, but some people will say that every sin is related back to one or another of the Commandments anyway.

We are not saved by our keeping his commands.

We are saved through our faith in Jesus and his resurrection.
We obey his commands out of love not duty or fear.

doesn't matter , if you broke one you broke the whole Law

James 2:10 King James Version (KJV)
10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

If you told a lie you are just as bad as Stalin who commited mass murder in God's eyes.
It's human nature to try to make "levels" of sin and crimes that we commit.

It's written in Bible that everybody broke the Law and is guilty and there is none righteous including yourself so if you wanted to have your sins forgiven only by becomming born again and having new birth you can be saved .

Romans 3:10 King James Version (KJV)
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Romans 3:23 King James Version (KJV)
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Ephesians 2:8-9 King James Version (KJV)
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

We should try to keep all of God's commandments. The bible says "should we continue to sin so that grace can abound?", the answer to which is "by no means".

We are to attempt to be pure in all ways, that includes, being sexually pure, keeping God's commands, and also obeying the laws and regulations of the land in which we live.

There is grace if we fail, but this failure should be in the context of, "I was trying to do what was right, and stuffed up, I fell into sin". It should not be "I thought about it, and decided I wanted to ignore God's commands, and do X".

We are always to strive to enter the narrow gate of God's commandments.
