How so? All that the double slit experiment demonstrates is the dual nature of matter. And light too, for that matter. If you let a single photon through at a time it will still form a diffraction pattern. The light interferes with itself as it "goes through both slits at the same time".
If matter is effected by observation as shown in the experiment, it is cohesive with the idea that God's observation of the universe or thought of brings it to form. Can the universe exist outside of God observing it and we as intelligent agents going after God's thoughts?
