a part of science that is paramount to science methodology is called "methodological naturalism". Creation "science" is therefore purely unscientific by definition as it relies on a supernatural explanation for the world around us.

In my country we have a saying: " On the deaf man's door you can knock all you want". Likewise: With AV1 you can debate all you want! AV1; I suspect, would dismiss God himself; if God came to him and told him that evolution is a proven theory.
It is sad that one such as AV1 (who has shown to us in many posts that he truly possesses a good grasp of general knowledge) should act in a way that only ignorant people do.

For professional creationists like Ken Ham, talking about mutation and natural selection is kind of like talking about rungs and beams of a ladder.

In one text they'll say:
"Okay, so there are rungs. In theory you could climb up them but without something to hold them in place they're useless. Ladder theory is really just a pile of sticks."

And then elsewhere.
"Okay, so there are beams. But those are just two poles. It's impossible to climb up them. Ladder theory is just a pile of sticks."

And the two step continues ad nauseum.

thats really odd coming from you. You expect people you answer your challenges by playing dumb and not reading into them. Your ignore the the people who see through your facade, Then when someone does play dumb, you fire your loaded question that everyone saw a mile away. The car fiasco comes to mind.

If one of those mutations confers and advantage, and that mutation becomes more prominent in the population over time, then evolution has occurred. This is easily demonstrated in the Luria-Delbruck fluctuation assay and the Lederberg-Lederberg plate replica experiment. In those experiments phage resistance and antimicrobial resistance, respectively, emerge through random mutation and become the predominant phenotype.
