  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Writing anime is similar in some sense to other mediums, like light novels or manga in Japan, but anime is a bigger process, because it involves more people and such not to mention you're adapting things into a particular medium. It's why making a movie is harder i many ways than a mere novel.

I've had ideas for anime, though they could easily be used in manga or such as well. Mostly fantasy and such, not much scifi, sadly.

Can you explain... How do you write anime?
I just write stories with an anime theme and then take anime pictures from online to describe the characters at the end of the book.

There's always partnerships that can be done: like the protagonist in Eromanga sensei, for one example

Only one that immediately comes to mind is CLAMP. I think Food Wars has a food consultant and Seraph of the End has someone involved besides the artist and writer....

Some of the biggest of the biggest names actually have assistants lending them a hand, so those are groups as well.

That's more a matter of the industry model versus something that branches from it, like artist/writer pairs being less common compared to a single author who's also the artist. Akira Toriyama and Masashi Kishimoto's assistants have been working on Dragon Ball Super and Boruto, for instance
