A great way to make friends on here is just to dive into the threads, share your thoughts, have some fun. If you scroll down the first page of the threads here in Singles you'll see different threads like "Whats on your mind", or "What are you listening to" or even "What are you eating" and it's an easy way to interject yourself into the forum and help people get to know you.

I really like the Whats on your mind thread because it lets me know how people are feeling, and it's a good way to start conversations.

I hope my threads are social as well, I have an animal thread, a book thread, cars, crafts, etc. Where you can post pictures or just write what you like. If you need any help though feel free to tag me and ask a question or you can PM me.

Click on the persons username and this should pop up, and where you see "Start a Conversation" click on that and then a new screen should pop up with your Conversation, type out what you want and then click send

Select a member username and click "start a conversation".

It's not just you, its same with every profile I click. I can't start conversations with them

If I remember you need more posts to start a pm message. This might be the problem.

Yeah they need to vet people first before they can send people private messages.

I didn't know about that, I thought the vetting was before being allowed to use the threads. Thanks

Testimony time... I am finally able to start conversations with people.

Someone sent me a PM then I clicked on their user name and saw "start a conversation" icon.
I have tried it for other people as well. It works
