I only checked out the first link, but it is very evident to me that this is a mixture of New Age and Gnostic teaching. . . . and is not Christian!! Do NOT get involved with this group, as they deny the basic tenents of the Christian faith . .here is one segment of what they believe:

2.10 Jesus didn't come to convert the world.
2.11 The closer we are to God, the closer we are to everyone else.
2.12 Traditional Christian doctrine states that people are born in original sin.
2.13 In Unity we believe that people are born in original blessing.[/quote]


It was because of heretical teachings, like these, that arose during the time of the Early Church that the Bishops called councils to formulate Creeds to proclaim the Christian faith . .


One of the lines in the Nicene Creed about Jesus:

Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven, was incarnate by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary and was made man.

This is a false movement claiming affinity with Christ, yet denying his salvific work and the cross as well as encouraging New Age practices . . .

I agree!! Many, many Christians are falling for this stuff. Unless you pay very close attention you will not see it coming until it is to late.

Yes up front it appears to be Loving kind excepting church.

Yes it appears that way. They use all the christian termonology. But it turns the christian beliefs inside out.

Sin! there is no sin. Jesus yeah he was just a nice teacher one that we can be like.

The real problem I am having with this is my mother is very involved with all this stuff.

She asks me how can it be wrong they are teaching love?

She thinks that sin is just missing the mark. Which means not doing what you feel is right. Hitler was not doing evil as he was doing what he felt he needed to do.

The church is everybody not just the body of believers.

That's not true. They are preaching a different gospel. If all paths lead to God, and all people are children of God, then there is no need to worry about sin, or accept what Jesus did on the cross. The gospel is about the cross, and to mix this up is not the Christian message.

They are teaching that the divinity of Christ is share already by all people, that Christ was a special one. . but their teaching is that we are all divine already . .

They are a New Thought Movement, and they liken themselves to other New Thought Movements like Chrisitan Scientist . .

They promote a false gospel . .



The enemy loves to confuse what is true with what is false under the guise of Love . . In God's kingdom you cannot have Agape love apart from truth, as agaped love loves truth! In this movement, there is love, and it teaches a type of love, but it loves a lie ..


The enemy is most effective when he mixed truth with lies, and the truth can be so good, and even profound, so that the lie is swept into the mind along with the truth . .

I could share a stroy about this from my own life, how a demonic book (and yes I mean demonic) was used by God to help me with a serious issue I was dealing with . . at the time I knew, from the very good biblical and doctrinal training I had received as a Protestant, that there were things in this book that weren't true, but there were such profound truths in it I has a little confused about it all . . needless to say there were things in that book that God used in my life in a powerful way. It wasn't until a few years later that I realized the denomic nature of the book when I had a spiritual encounter with denominc manifestations while trying to find something I had read a few years before in it .. (for those of you who have trouble beileving soemthing like this can happen, let me assure you they can) . . .

The manifestation became so intense and loud, that I finally asked God what to do .. He put in my heart to break the power of the demon over this book .. (I was surprised as I thought how could there be a demon associated with this book if God used it to help me?) .. so I did .. I hit it with my fist as I said "I break your power over this book in the Name of Jesus!"

The manifestation got weaker, but didn't leave . . so I asked God what to do next, and He put in my heart to burn it . . so I went over to the wood stove, and there was a small but fairly hot fire in it, and put the book in it . . I waitied, it didn't burn . . the manifestation continued (it was still weak) . . so I took it out, opened it, and laid it pages down in the fire and waitied . . it still wouldn't burn (hardly even smoulder) .. so determined now to see it that it did indeed burn, I took it out and opened it up fully and put it fanned opened, page ends down into the fire - I waited again .. finally, a page began to smoulder and soon the book began to burn. Once it was burning, the manifestations completely stopped. .


The problem is that the enemy is so good at concealing the lie within the truth that it is diffiicult to see the lie sometimes, or the enemy behind it . .


We need to pray for your mother . .that the deception of the enemy and the veil he has put over her eyes and her mind will be lifted so she can see and understand the truth.

Yes, and that "Course in Miracles" is very dangerous stuff! I saw a book on this teaching this and I decided to look through it . it is full of false and New Age doctrines . .

Although I might be misinterpreting that, it sounds kinda scary.

They are totally right about the name--Church of Today. Postmodern church! It sounds like they've got their feet planted firmly in midair.

Love could be a topic in its own. My Mother has mentioned, How could it be wrong they are teaching love? I think Agape is very misunderstood. One we truly will not understand until we are home.

We need to pray for your mother . .that the deception of the enemy and the veil he has put over her eyes and her mind will be lifted so she can see and understand the truth.
