• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Share them anyway; a lot of us enjoy seeing good fanart! (Remember the forum specific rules about content -- no hentai, shounen-ai not graphic and in good taste, etc. -- if you have any drawings that would be considered a bit risqué by American standards.)

First, have them in digital format -- ideally .jpg but .gif or .bmp will also work -- on your computer. If they're drawn on paper, running them through a scanner and saving the images will handle this.

Now, use the main "Reply" button to a thread, not the Quick Reply box.

Type in your comments in the Message box, as usual. Don't hit "Submit Reply" yet.

Go down below the Message box and associated buttons to the "Additional Options" box. Second item there is "Manage Attachments." Click on that and follow directions. You may have to talk the interface into going to the directory you saved the pictures in by using "Browse."

Pick a picture and tell it to save it. There'll be a brief pause while it adds it to your post-in-process and then a display that says something like "Trowa.jpg (44 KB)." Repeat the process until you have all the pictures you want to upload saved and listed. (Advice: stop after four or five and add any more to a new post; fewer if you are using .bmp format, which makes larger image files.) Now hit the second "submit reply" button, and the whole thing will upload as a new post, with a box at the bottom giving thumbnails of your pictures -- which people can view fullsize by clicking on them; they open in a new window.
