Does anyone have any NDE's about Heaven they would like to share here

I've been worried recently. Primarily because I have been reluctantly believing in Pantheism which is that God is all existing things. I'd much rather have a personal spiritual father without having to worry about God being all aspects of existence. Because I honestly feel that I separated myself from that which is God. Which is all corners of existence. I feel that through my negativity that I divorced myself from the creator who is everything and I have lost that unity with everything. I guess my main question on here is that I want confirmation from anyone on here with an NDE whether God is separate from us or within us.

While very interesting, at times, NDEs are not canon nor a replacement for your Bible. If you get to know your Bible, you will get a better sense of who is telling you the Truth and who is feeding you lies.

Paul wrote [in 2 Timothy 3:16-17],

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable
  • for doctrine,
  • for reproof,
  • for correction,
  • for instruction in righteousness,
that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."

Is there a reason that you keep looking everywhere else (but in the Bible) for your Spiritual fix?

I still need to know whether NDE's can confirm whether God is distinct from us or not. Because what worries me is that the pantheist view would prevail. That God is the totality of everything. Because I feel like I might have separated myself from it by being in a negative state of mind.

Did you get rid of your pantheistic/new age books/links, yet?

If you did not, NDE testimonies cannot help you. And you are foolish, if you believe that they can.

Only your Bible can give you the intellectual peace that you seek.

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV

So your basically saying God will help me out of this if I help myself. I cant be in a state of self-defeat concerning my obsession with God being everything. I have to let go and allow God to make himself known without having to believe that everything is him.

Not "if you help yourself." Set aside your preconceived notions on Who you think God is and let Him introduce Himself to you (on His terms).
  • He is good.
  • His Salvation is good.
  • His plans for you are good.
  • He doesn't expect you to fully understand His ways.
  • Trust in His Goodness more than anything else that would call it into question.
(And read your Bible to find out even MORE about His Goodness, Love, Righteousness, Holiness, etc.)

Some people realize they are sick and dying. They call on God for help. Some of them get saved, some do not. I thought my only chance was if there is a God. I did not turn to Hinduism or Greek mythology. Having been to Sunday school as a child I turned to scriptures again. God put some believers on my path that helped me keep searching. Some decades later, I am not perfect, but was able to avoid much heartache, loss and sorrow by seeking Christ. If you pray to God for a calling, will you get one? Should you search the scriptures like other lost souls did?

I just had a quick vacation with a friend of 50 years. He told me that a friend of his recently had a near-death experience. His friend reported the usual bright light and seeing dead relatives.

Did he say whether God was all or a separate entity?

For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,
” says the Lord.
"For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.

Be still, and know that I am God;..." Psalms 46:10 NKJV

My friend did not say whether his friend mentioned God. Many of these stories do mention God or Jesus or Moses. A book was written by someone a few years back who researched 100 or so NDEs, but I do not know the name of the book and I have not read it. You should be able to learn about it by doing a Google search. Most of the NDE patients report an overwhelming sense of peace and many do not want to return to their bodies and live. However, a few do report a Hell or Purgatory-like experience. I recall that the former ABC-TV Medical Reporter felt a few years back that these experiences were not real. However, in addition to being a physician, he was also an ordained minister and he still affirmed a belief in the afterlife.

As to your question, it is my understanding that most of these patients believe that God is a separate entity and I certainly affirm that such is the case.

I need that relief. I didnt want God to be everything, it would make me feel as if I'm being ostracized for not being apart of it. The pantheist view holds that existence is God so that strikes fear into me. This is because when I feel far or separate from God or that which is all it makes me feel like I wont exist or wont exist when I pass away. I wonder if I separated myself from that which is existence it strikes fear into me.

That is what I was talking about earlier. All of these alternative "gospels" that you keep turning to keep saying that God's Salvation for you will not be good; that you will lose in the end.

If you looked to your Bible, instead, you would read,

"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28 NKJV

Does that sound like a God who is going to abandon you at death?

The pantheist view holds that existence is God
The view that all is god is literaly non sense.

How can butchering babies be the same as disinfecting the toilet. Yet if all is god those two activities are the same moraly.

Pantheism terifies you, yet you won't seriously examine Jesus and see that he is God.

If Jesus is the second person of the trinity he is God, but is not everything so pantheism cannot be correct.
