Does anyone else Listen to United

I listen to United. They're my absolute favourite. Them and Jeremy camp, Mercy Me and a few others. anyone else really into the worship stuff?

Yeah i am, but sadly it depends on which mood i'm in. I've not got the gift of being able to shift moods automatically yet so...
But i like MercyMe (i've only heard "i can only imagine")

I have one of Mercy Me's CD's. And united, I can listen to them any time thanks to Phil Duley. i met him and he taught me, when things are going rough, just praise Jesus. Have you heard the song Forever!

I know, there's one guy that thinks all the teachings i've been brought up with are wrong, because his are different. What we are and what Anglicans are, are different.

Really? I can't see why! It's people expressing their lvoe for God through music, and thats whats important. We use heaps of Hillsong music in our church too.

Jkurtz: I haven't heard Carried Me yet, I've only got Stay. And I like heaps on United songs, too many favourites to lsit. Forever is defintely cool, if a little too high to sing . Everyday is a classic as well, and I like Now That You're Near and All Day heaps too. The lsit goes on and on.

In the town where I live we've been blessed with pretty good unity between the churches, especially youth wise. Us catholics, the anglicans and the presbyterian youth get on especially well together.

Ha.... me and anglicans don't get along so well. Most of them contradict everything i say because, Anglicans and other types of Christians aren't the same. We basically get along with anything other than Anglicans. I'd like to, but I just can't seem to. Anyway my favourites by united are.

3. To The Ends of the Earth
4. One Way

The rest are just endless so i'll stop there.

i would have said that about catholics more than anglicans....i dunno... i was brought up anglican but really i'm non/multidenominational....that is i think that really the way it should be is a christian is a christian is a chrisitan..but yeah anyway

United rocks. i'd say my favourite would have to be "My god" off of to the ends of the earth but i really can't choose favourites cos its all so good!!

I'm sad to be the dissenting voice here... it's not that United isn't good... heck I reckon they're better than the adult hillsong CDs... so much more energy and all that. I find however that lyrically they aren't as good as they are musically which is a sore point for me, as I find while generally the lyrics might point to God, they could have been better.

The other factor isn't really Hillsong's fault... I live 15 minutes from Hillsong and atherefore as a fellow AOG church, invariably we are going to get some of their material in our ears... and while it's good stuff it just gets too much and the sound becomes the same. You guys probably don't have that problem so I guess it all sounds really fresh and I'm happy for you... but my story isn't the same, I'm sorry to say.

In summary, I like Hillsong United, but don't like More Than Life much. I find myself mroe in tune to Passion, David Crowder and Third Day (Offerings 1 and 2 especially). Peace my family

United is soooo cool!!!! I love listening to them, you can sense their awesome annointing just from listening to their cd!! my worship team went to go see them a few weeks ago when they were here in LA, they were in the fronT!!!!!! they had such an awesome time just being in the presence of God...i wasnt able to go cause i was sick but i still love their music...their new CD is sooooooooooooooooooooooo good. in our youth group we do a lot of their music, like one way, light, always, among others. jeremy camp is really good too, as is switchfoot and relient k, and david crowder band...i could go on forever about music, cause i love it!
