Does anyone else have mixed thoughts about the apostle Paul?

historically women have fared far better under Christianity than any other religious ethic ...
Historically women have fared the same under christian men as in most religions. Historically, men used to be allowed to beat their women into obedience. It's only in the last 1 or 2 centuries that Christianity has been reinterpreted as to be anti-slavery and anti-misogyny. And also only very recently, anti-homophobia (although still this isn't the general rule).
We have to watch what we think, what we feel and what we do, so that we keep the supreme commmandment.

Paul always came across as a bit iffy, to me...
That is what I thought at first. But after making a more though study I changed my mind. In regards to the law, paul was talking about the keeping of God's commandment laws. But in regards to the Mosaic law, that is past. Not all bibles translate the words "commandments." But if you have a Exhaustive Concordance you can find those places.
