Does anyone else enjoy embroidery?

Hi, all! I'm new to this website. I really enjoy embroidery. My step-mother-in-law got me hooked on it. She and I have done one set of nursery quilt blocks together. I'm currently working on a crib sheet(?) that has Noah's Ark on it. It's pretty cute. I also enjoy cross-stiching, but embrodiery's my passion right now. Best wishes!

My current project is making a Christmas tree skirt for my mother. Awfully ambitious project, too! Let's hope and pray I'll finish by Christmas '05!

I love embroidery too, but it has been a long time since I picked it up to do any. I used to be very good at it, and enjoyed the intrique designs that can be accomplished with this. I also do embroidery with yarn, too. Right now I am more into sewing and making things with all kinds of lacy trims.

I'm new too. I love needlework period! As far as embroidery goes, I especially like x-stitch, silk ribbon, & smocking. I need to get started on a new project, but I also need to get a bunch of other things done as well. ;-)

I'm into making new curtains and drapes for my home, and also renewing the tired pillow covers that are on the throw pillows in the livingroom. I made those when we first moved here almost 15 years ago. They lasted through two kids, and 6 or 7 dogs and cats.

I haven't done emroidery for ages now, but it is something I enjoy. Especially the more different kinds of stitches the better. I tend to get bored if it's all the same.

hi,most of my bedroom decoration is done in embroider.i did my pillowcases and my quilt which took me 6 months to complete and has to be drycleaned because i put so much detail on it! i embroider before bed as it helps me with school stress and i sleep better.we as a family are working on the Lords prayer in embroider but its going slowly. im new to posting at forums but its so fun to read what other people are doing in school with hobbies and stuff so i think i'll stay awhile how does everyone get those neat photos up there????~ madeline~

I am also new to CF, and I love to do embroidery. I often embroider designs for my quilt labels. I find it super relaxing.

Embroidery is fun, and I love to make my own designs.

One project was the tree skirt for the Christmas tree I made myself with sequins, and beads. If that counts ... but I love making pillows with embroidery on them too. Next, I may make some doll clothing with embroidery on them. I always keep scraps of materials from all my projects, and they usually end up on my dolls in my doll collection.
