Just wondering because I do. Out in here in Hollywood it's so hard to be Christian and dance for God's glory. I was just seeing if anyone relates to this or have any suggestions to help me out. Thank You

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I do!! Its awesome. Advice is to fill your residence with worship music or your ipod. That will keep you strong.

Not yet, but I'll be auditioning for dance schools this summer.
I sometimes have to deal with people who idolise dance, or inversly, people who cannot understand how someone can be dancing to give glory to God unless they are doing worship dance.

I havent been out in La for long, proabably a couple months. Ive done some showcases here and there. Ive done the new usher video caught up. Thats about it. BUt lately there really havent been any auditions going on the industry is really slow right now...........

I was a professional ballroom dancer. It was so much fun. I did it because I love entertaining people. It was never a sexual or bad thing to do---I was using the instrument God gave me to interpret beautiful music.
Now, I am a doctor and I treat dancer's injuries. I feel like I am giving back.

not yet, right now im doing my last year of school and my first of Certifcate 11 in dance but in the near future i hoping to either get in to a company or start up my own for either pro's or just to get kids of the streets and doing something useful. Kept up the dancing God Bless Ya!

cool usher is cool. Does gurlz in caught up were hot. La is too ghetto for me.

I'm not in the jazz/ hip hop thing like it sounds like you are, but i dance professionally in a ballet co. My advice is to find strong Christian friends who don't dance, because you're not like likely to find those who do. I was fortunate to find a fantastic church with people I really connected to. That way, when I get discouraged or just sick of dealing with all the garbage of day to day life, I always have someone there for me.
