Seems most folks are pretty mature on this particular forum, whatever their age is.

Does a poster's age effect the way you read their posts? Do you give more or less credit to a person based on their age?
Maybe I am arrogant. I don't care if I am or not to be honest with you. It's the way it is whatever it is called. That's kind of arrogant. You can learn something from everyone.
It's about life experience, not age. And you can't know about someone's life experiences until you talk to them. Also,
"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity." -1 Timothy 4:12.
To an extent, I'd say that it is almost unbiblical to take someone else's age into serious account when evaluating what they have to say [because it may allow for assumptions about them, ie, "they're young"]. Particularly in a forum like this, and when they have reached legal/social adulthood.
In actuality, the older they are, the more I'm more likely to expect them to be stuck in their waysIn these forums?

like sometimes, I see a post that makes me go,
and I see their age and think, "Oh, that likely explains it." I don't think that of everyone 30+ or whatever, but when people make certain posts, I sometimes check to see what their age is. But like others have said, location is a bigger thing for more than age. Denominational leanings are also important.
I'm 19, and while I'm now an extremely spastic poster, I wonder if anyone ever thinks things of me based off my age. It would be interesting to know![]()
O RITE I guess I didn't think that one throughYou're only 19, you can't be asexual!!DUH
