"...nor should the current state of understanding ever be made a test of fellowship."

Well I share his sentiment -however reality bites, and the truth is, one's understanding does determine whether one is welcome in so-called "christian" circles i.e., believe accordingly as a parrot, or out you go -"persona-non-grata!"

As for "I would like to hear your thoughts on this" -that is just hypocrytical duplicity :(

Then I can start referring to dispensationalists as hyperDispo's ... same difference right? I personally don't like the term hyper to describe full prterists! The partial pret's I guess are a little more normal since they can still hold to some of their dispensationalist views and not appear to extreme, basically they are really not Partial Pret's at all they are still futurists! They are more like Psuedo Preterist's! If you get my drift! Even the futurists that are founders of this forum or site are in some ways Partial Preterists! I heard them saying they believe that some of the prophecies have been fulfilled which (guess what?) makes them partial preterists! In other words they can't make up their minds as to what the bible is saying in the first place!
Yours truely,
Former Futurist who finally has seen the light of God's truth!

I am surprised that none of this interests you. If you want to have a discussion, then this is the place to do it. What do you think about the subject I've posted? Have you ever thought about any of this?

Preterism eschatology has been cussed and discussed AT LENGTH. Why can't preterists look beyond eschatology for a moment, just long enough to understand or consider the doctrinal implications of preterism?

I'm not interested in discussing someone elses cut n paste -and that's about the depth of your renewed swallow interest. Stick with your dubious dispensationalism -you're well qualified.

I seriously would like to hear what you have to say about some of these subjects...some of the things you and other prets have been saying make sense to me...great commission, sunday (anyday really)worship, judgement day(past or future and why), the Holy Spirit, etc...take one at a time and let's converse...i'll give you my input as well and won't just ask questions...i may not be able to reply till tomorrow...possibly later tonight...other full preterist(or partial preterists for that matter) can join in as well...thanks in advance...

I am a little confused as to why you are all of the sudden interested so much in preterism. According to your hate-dripping posts in other forums, you already made up your mind on the doctrine of preterism, so what exactly are you trying to learn since you appear to already know everything about preterism? How else could anyone explain the illogical venomous attacks on anyone that doesn't match your pattern?

Let's see...according to you, preterists are heretics, preterists are destroying the church, they are evil, they are a cult, they are liars, they are not christians, they are denying christ...should I continue?

Hey jenlu  I to will have to jump in later as I've just finished a night shift and am about to "hit the sack" -but I'm more than happy to dialogue with someone with fair-dinkum interest, so I'll get back to you and most likely one or two others might chime-in in the mean time.

Auntie Belle Um,

Some people say that our eschatological view does not matter as long as we walk with Jesus. It does matter, and it matters a great deal. The ultimate question eschatology seeks to answer is not just the timing of when Jesus returned or will return. It is the question of how much of our salvation we can experience in this life.

Let us see how much of a futurist or preterist you really are by your answers to the following questions:

1. Has spiritual death been abolished for all who will believe? If so, what does this mean for you?

2. Is Satan defeated, or in other words, is he the same Devil that he was before the cross. If not, how is his position different, and what does this mean for the church?

3. Is the kingdom of God here, or does it await a future dispensation? If is not here, what is the degree of victory the church can have in this day?
