Eh so what? Pentagrams are to ward off evil.

I didnt know charms / symbols warded off evil .. only in occults. Its actually used in Wicca and satanism but anyway .

And if you practice neo pagan witch craft then that also is of the occult.

Anyway I am going off track it still doesnt make sense what you stated.

Video games provide us with a psychosocial moratorium - we can experiment with things we would never do in real life without having to fret about real life consequences.

I tend to agree with this. Even though there are no consequences to my actions in the real world I still tend to play good rather than bad given a choice...I feel uncomfortable being bad for some reason as its so against my persona...though I do occassionally go over to the dark side...just to see what would happen.

Gaming's a fairly significant part of my life, so I think it'd be dumb to not let God be a part of it. That said, the entire point of a game is to have fun, so just have fun while acknowledging God in all your ways. I think it becomes more relevant in multiplayer games (especialy online) since you're dealing with actual people, but there's a place for God in everything you do.

I probably haven't applied this in my life as much as I should have, but I think it's the right idea.

I would say they make me want to play in moderation more than anything else. I also happen to listen to good worship tunes while playing and sometimes pray as well. When I am in flight on World of Warcraft I read from God's word or step outside for prayer. I don't feel I have to do this I just like to. Lol Guess I am silly.

I haven't really noticed any affect, other than in Sims or multi-player games. I make my sims do a lot, but there are a few things that make me uncomfortable so I intentionally avoid those. With mmos or whatever, it mostly affect how I interact with others or choices I make that affect other players.

I'm pretty much good with taking out a pixelated city just to see the shiny explosion though. :p

I like to play Battlefield 1943 on my PS3 and Battlefield 1942 on PC those games..are just that..GAMES..but games like God of War I just can't get wrapped around being the name "God" is mentioned..I can't get into that pseudo whacked out fantasy game stuff unless its the Final Fantasy Series. Sometimes I might play old FF Roms on my PC

Yes. I can't really choose the bad path in games, but that's fine with me. Although lately I've been sticking to sports games (NBA2K12 and NBA Jam respectively). I do need some work though since NBA Jam sometimes gets me angry when playing online and I'm winning, but my opponent just begins shoving the heck out of me...But we're working on that!
