Keeping or not keeping commandments has nothing to do with if you are in the kingdom or not.

So if you say that you know God, but you don’t keep his commandments, lets see what the Lord had specially written for you. It says in (1John 2:3-4) (v.3) And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. (v.4) he that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. Then the book says in Revelation 21: 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

These are hard words coming from the word of God, I would take heed and start keeping these Commandments. But of course it's your choice.

The next verse begs to differ Mat5:20. The Pharisees were keeping their man-made traditions over obeying the commandments of God (Jesus quoting from the Ten Commandments) and Jesus in His own words said it made the word of God of no effect by keeping their traditions over obedience to God's commandments Mat15:3-14 Mark7:7-13, if our righteousness does not surpass theirs we will be no means enter into the Kingdom of heaven hence the warning in Mat5:19

Yes, they accused Him of doing so when it was never a sin to help someone in need on the Sabbath and those who still hold that standard does not know God, that God would leave someone to suffer when He could easily help them on the Sabbath. The Pharisees were not keeping God's commandments-including the Sabbath, which Jesus condemned them for as He does everyone Mat5:19-20 they were keeping their own man-made traditions and rules and holding people accountable for breaking their rules which they did to Jesus. Sadly this is going to happen again with the National Sunday Law, there is nothing in God's commandments about keeping Sunday, but men will do exactly what they did to Jesus elevating a man-made tradition over the commandments of God and persecute those who wish to stay faithful to God. Rev12:17

Thats why we should go by what God says, He was very clear about activities we should be doing on His holy day. Isa58:13 Lev23:3 Exo20:8-11 Luke4:16 1John2:6 Acts 13:44 Acts 18:4 etc etc.

I am assuming you are speaking of EGW, I only quoted Scripture. What activities on the Sabbath did she promote that is in violation of what God said we should do on the Sabbath. Actually, there was nothing at all that the Pharisees did that violated any of the Law. Their problem was that they added their own traditions to the Law, as many have done since, not merely Mrs. White.
