Was already a Christian for about the first 18 years of my life, I've already walked down that road. I remember investing considerable time trying to prove that guy was real and divine. It's almost a little surreal listening to you ask me this question.

I really don't want to go to heaven or hell. I just want to stop existing after I die and have any trace of me ever existing wiped from history.
Unfortunately I don't have that choice

I know Jesus is going to drag out all the stuff I've done and would rather forget, out into the open, and I honestly don't have any good explanation for half of it.

Yeah I do want to go to Heaven but I'm not really that great of a Christian..I haven't read my Bible in months either.

Some days I'm not even sure if I'm saved.

If you are unsure of your self, admit to God that you only know what your spirit knows. We are blind and deaf. Basically we're spirtual paralytics, or even lepers if you want to put it like that. Gods spirit knows everything, hes not expecting us humans to know anything, just to start admitting what we dont have. Atleast, thats how it works for me.

That's okay. I guess I always viewed God that the more unworthy you are, the more likely you will be saved. The person with a few sins didn't realize how grave his circumstance was, the ones who committed many realized how hopeless he was relying on himself. Think of our bodies as trees that only bear fruits of sin... if you want to be spiritual, you aren't going to be relying on your body you know? it's not really in your hands to do good in that context. God is good, and he will deliver you from temptation and all that jazz. Eh I believe God cleansed me and I am grateful and happy even if I do sin. He's the advocate for his believers

The salvation message is one I know and live by. But as a Christian, I think I get caught up in secondary issues and stuff. The grey issues of the Bible, like:

predestination or free will?

can you lose salvation or not?

demonic possession?

tongues

stuff like that. I found out that if I start getting a headache, just to stop, and remember what is important, that Jesus saved me by His blood on the cross. Everything else, is not so important. so many christians are split up by small stuff like this, when the salvation message is what is important. Thanks for sharing!

(I got to say, this thread is so fun! I love it! It is causing me tons of laughs! keep confusing it with facebook, and want to like the posts. lol!)
