Nice. I recently bought a box of Star Wars CCG cards (like Magic, except Star Wars) in a bout of nostalgia because me and my brother use to play and collect when we were kids haha. But I'm a biology nerd, not a technology nerd. I'd rather discuss and dissect pancreases!

I never much liked biology. And then, this semester, came a mandatory introductory biotechnology course.

Now I'm considering shifting my focus from nanomaterials to nanobiotechnology.

Imagine you're a 3 dimensional being existing in a 3 dimensional space (which you are).

But if you had only three dimensions you would have no temporal duration!

It doesn't matter whether you're 6 feet tall, or 6 trillion light years tall. Whether the space around you is infinite or not, you will have to perceive it as infinite.

Why? The Babylonians didn't.

So the fact that the universe appears very large or infinite tells us nothing that doesn't logically follow from the fact that we are 3D beings.

Except that I'm four-dimensional at least.

If imagining vast numbers and spaces invokes emotion in you, fine, but don't mistake that for something on which to base a reasoned conclusion.

Right! It is so much better to base everything on the writings of would-be theocrats who want to keep the collection plate filled, and a goodly supply of youthful accolytes ready to submit to buggery.
