Depends on the day. Some days I feel beautiful and other days, not so much. I try to use positive self talk when I look in the mirror, though, and it does help. I no longer allow myself to look in the mirror and say that I'm ugly because it doesn't do me any good. And I know that even I'm my worst day, I'm not ugly.

If I was good looking, I would be single all the time! :p

At least ugly people are ignored, thereby enabling us to sneak around :burglar:

You are not ugly!

What do you mean you would be single all the time? I'm lost, you intentionally confusing person.

what's the deal with new avatar pics of women practically every other day?

 Seems a little passive-agressive/cranky, but for what it's worth...

I believe the last one I had was Dirk Bogarde. Who was a man. A very good-looking, distinguished man, but a man none-the-less.

I get into trends. I was obsessed with eyebrows (granted, I still am), hence... Elizabeth Taylor.

The Dirk Bogarde one I was inspired to have after a convo involving beards, Rock Hudson, and good-looking Brit actors with ProAntiRev in the 'Would you marry a gay man?' thread.

I've been watching a lot of docs on HIV/AIDs and reading a lot about the epidemic, and Gia (the woman in the avatar) was one of the first famous women to die of AIDs. Regardless, she was quite striking in her prime.

In other words? It's about whatever floats my boat/appeals to me at the time. Though to be honest, I will say that I believe there are a lot more good-looking women out there than men; men can be attractive or sexually appealing, but I generally think women have more 'striking' features/faces, especially in photos.

Oops! I meant to say wouldn't be single all the time. (I guess I shouldn't stop to surf the web in the middle of a sentence)

Me, confusing? Whatever do you mean? :dontcare:

i agree with everything you said. (almost everything) really just the last few statements about women looking better than men.

I find men generally need a certain way about them, personality feature, etc. to really stand out from the pack. Wheras a woman can always play up her physical features to get noticed. (Most) Men can't really run around in tight clothes, noticeable makeup, etc. without someone questioning their masculinity or standing out in negative way.

Providing a woman does it correctly, she can pull off bodycon styles, dramatic or heavy makeup (you'd be surprised how many women in 'no makeup' are wearing a tinted moisturized for instance), and big hair. Men who exaggerate tend to be a bit hit or miss, by comparison especially.
