To God, there is no such thing as the "supernatural" because operating in His power is quite natural to Him.

By creating this natural/supernatural dichotomy, by focusing on how miracles are "supernatural" to humans, we forget that the same are quite "natural" to God.

Think this might be a self imposed limitation upon our faith?

Discuss.

I don't think so... Healing is supernatural when is done is someone's natural body. Same with deliverance. When a devil is cast out of someone, it was done supernaturally. No one cut their body open and removed a demon from inside of them.

The supernatural and the natural is like a mouse being food to a snake, but a mouse being food to a human is quite unnatural.

Bad scenario, I know... Couldn't think of anything else though. :p

Interesting.
I actually have a chapter in my soon to be published book addressing this very issue.
There is a difference between "supernatural" and "merely spiritual".
I say "merely spiritual" because not all things spiritual are supernatural. It is perfectly natural for you to operate as a spirtiual being. You have a spirit and you can operate in the spiritual without entering into the supernatural. I believe you (your spirit) has the ability to speak in tongues and prophesy and that this is not a "supernatural" manifestation. It is just as natural for you to speak in tongues and prophesy as it is for you to walk in love and exercise faith. These are "natural" things for your spirit to do.
It is only when we manifest the gifts fo the Holy Spirit that we enter into the supernatural... because these manifestations require the inclusion of power and abilities outside of our own spirit. IOWs our spirits cannot manifest these gifts without the supernatural power of the Holy Ghost.

No we do not limit God.

He is a supernatural being.

He does Miracles, Signs, and Wonders :)

We as WOF live Super-Natural lives--Or should be living those types of lives at least :p

I do understand what you mean though.

But all in all--Our God is a supernatural God.

Anywayz, I think I'll go and pray about this only so I can get a revelation and so Godly wisdom will be imparted into me :D

I am supernatural.

I am above and beyond the natural.

The natural does not move me, I move it.

The natural does not command me, I command it.

The natural does not dominate my thinking, my thinking dominates the natural.

I am a thermostat in this world, not a thermometer.

I am naturally supernatural, I am supernaturally natural.

There is nothing in nature that can impact my life. My life is impacted by the Word.

I am SUPER natural.

I am faster than a speeding bullet.
I am more powerful than a locomotive.
I am able to leap tallest buildings in a single bound.

Look - up in the sky...

It's me.

Seated in heavenly places.

Blessings,

I am not on drugs.

I need no drugs.

I am not sick, nor do I get sick.

I am not depressed, nor do I get depressed.

Just because I have a Spirit that you do not know there is no need to dismiss me as being high.

Cheers,

If we dont believe for the supernatural we will never recieve anything. NOT believing limits God from working in our lives. But believing releases Him to bring it to pass.

You misunderstand.

To God there is no difference between the natural and the supernatural. Therefore, by making such a delineation, do we make it more difficult to believe in miracles?

I dont believe so. He knows we are natural human beings with limitations. But only thru the Spirit can we operate in what we would call supernatural. It is beyond what we can do in the natural and in this way depending on Him . I know I cannot do alot of things in my self. But God can do all things and nothing is impossible: therefore, it is easier for me to believe since HE has no limitations.

Excellent points! It's like someone told me once "the supernatural is merely God's super, added to our natural." When we are open to God, His "super" powers can flow through our natural bodies.

By the way, Excellent post Zz, loved it!
