ummmm....not to sure on this one...I would like to know if dogs even have souls or not....John Edward is truly a savour...I belive that he can "talk" to the dead..but if he really does talk to dogs or not I do not know.

I think John Edwards is dangerous....but I'm confident that pets will be in Heaven for they are God's Creation and if He could put 'em here, why couldn't He put 'em in Heaven?

Heaven is perfect. My opinion right now is in order for Heaven to be perfect there will be pets there. However, I think when we get to Heaven, we will be so focused on worshipping God, we may never think about pets.
I do find comfort in imagining my pets being in Heaven waiting for me.

The Bible is silent on the fate of dead pets, therefore, it is impossible to say that they don't go to heaven, or that they do go to heaven.
I hope they do, since I would love my dog to be with me in eternity!
I have never heard of John Edwards, but if he is saying that he can talk to the dead, or that he has some inside view of heaven, he is a liar and possibly a fraud.

I personally think our pets will be in Heaven. that is just my belief though. i can't back it up with the Bible except to say why not? But John Edwards is a fake. I was listening to a psychic radio program one time (do not ask me why I was but it certainly was not because I thought it wa real) and they had a guy call in who went to his show once. He said that they had to fill out a questionaire and that John Edwards wa a fake. i believe that he was telling the truth because he was a believer in the pranormal himself so that gave him more credibilty with me. I mean why would he be calling him a fake? i could think of some reasons but not so many. Just thought I would relay that story. Even if I had not heard that story I would of still thought he was a fake. He just fishes around until he gets the right answers.
Did anyone see that pet psychic that animal planet had awhile ago? She made john Edwards look like Jeremiah or something. I thought that show was hilarious though.

Heaven is happiness, so if without a pet you would not be as happy, I think God will give it to you...

But the 64,000 dollar question is: Will you have to clean up after your pets in Heaven?
Jesus said to preach the gospel to ALL creation. St. Frances did just that, he preached the gospel to the animals. I think that some, but not all of them will be saved. Pets tend to reflect their owner, and if we are born again, then we reflect God.
There are two kinds of pet owners, those who abuse animals and try to get them to obey through fear. And those who love their animals and treat them right. You can know who will be in Heaven and who will not be in Heaven, just by how they treat Animals.

Nope, from what I have read they don't. There will be "pets" in heaven, but NOT the ones that have died. All things will be created anew.

I would hope my puppies would be there, but since Im not biblically sound as far as the animals go. I can only hope to see them again.

Hmm..not sure about the pet thing but I would like to comment on that Crossing Over show with John Edwards. Frankly I can't believe some of you watch it or think he's real?? That show just scares me. I mean, talking to the dead? Same with psychics. I think that's definitely of satan and should have no role in a Christian's life. Just my view...not meaning to offend anyone!

Fessie, the actual show is like 2 or 3 hours I think. They edit out all his wrong stuff..that's why they have interviews with people inbetween clips too.

While I agree he's dangerous, I'm not sure I'd call him a fake. If the Bible warns against practices such as these, is it possible that what he's doing is real? Can you conjure up the dead? And please, no replies that Catholics do it when they pray with the Saints.....

Some median conjured up Samuel to communicate with Saul, so I suppose it is a possiblity. However, I really don't know if it was God who was involved with that or what? Good question.
