I put my eggs in the refrigerator. Ha! Dad joke.
I put boiled eggs in most any kind of cold salad. Slice them for potato salad, chop them for chicken or tuna salad.
No. Just green onions, celery and mayo with the cooked chicken.
I do use hardboiled eggs in tuna salad though.

THANK YOU, everyone. Do any of you use pickles --- sweet or dill?
Things like chicken salad is "to taste" meaning that everyone will do it just a little different after the base recipe.
So, for chicken salad (the kind for sandwiches) do a simple base, and then tweak it to your own taste

Here is a tweaked recipe to this woman's taste you may like to try..

The point of things like chicken salad is taking the base and seeing what all you personally like to make it your own. In the end, it's a very simple recipe and you can keep it as simple or make it as difficult as you like.
