• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Ok, so do you know whether it is God's plan for you concerning singleness?

Do you know if He

1 - wants you to remain single for a time, then marry?
2 - marry sooner than later?
3 - remain single and never marry?
4 - leaves the choice to you, and through your faith He will help you either way?

or any other option?

And, if you DO know God's will for you, how did you discover it and when did you KNOW this is what God's wants for your life?

We all need to lean on God in order for Him to prepare the way for us. Whether single or married. Or whatever because His ways are always the right ways. We also have to rely on His planning and timing because they are the complete opposite of ours.

Yes I believe you can know that God will provide..READ my post on page 10 about knowing for sure God will provide.
God gave me faith for a spouse but not a time so its a case of keep waiting and keep serving until His time is right. Not easy at times.

I don't know if you can know God's will for your life. Personally I haven't a clue what's in store for me and I can't wait to find out!

I think that if you really want someone who's perfect for you, then you need to leave it to God.

But whatever your situation (single not looking, single and looking) we need to learn to leave it to God and whatever's best for each of us, will happen!

Sometimes, we just wonder whether what's going on with our lives, especially when it comes to relationship, are we to get married or remain single for the rest of our lives. This is something that worries most single people and the question we always will ask, "Where is my Ms. Right or Mr. Right?". We always wonder whether what had God planned for us and whether where we should be heading to. I would say that, we should be contented with where we are right now and seek the Lord for His comfort and guidance. What I learnt at church yesterday was that, we should wait patiently for the Lord as His Ways are not our ways and His Time is not our time. It's really difficult because I do wonder at times too....

I know that it is God's will that I lean not on my own understanding, but in all things trust in him (Proverbs 3:5). Further, I know, "It is not for you to know times of seasons which the Father has put in His own authority." (Acts 1:7 NKJV)

Therefore, I do not test God, nor ask him for revelations which are not granted to me by his grace. Instead, I live according to his Word everyday, and strive to live holy that his will may be fulfilled in my life.

Follow the Lord and serve Him according to His plan and timing for you that's all you need to do if you will listen to His still, small, but effective and righteous voice.
