I've never talked to ChrisBot but have seen some of his conversations and they are funny.

Dr. Loh is a genius, I just don't know how he has the time to do all he does around here and still have a family life and career.

mnphysicist thanks for asking Christbot that question.....I asked that one the other night and he told me to send email, I'm like to whom, and he said who do you think.....made me think I was talking to a real person or either we got a smarty pants robot

Chrisbot, is just an interactive computer program. Created and maintained by Erwin, the webmaster of CF.

His name is derived from Christian Robot.

Thanks - I always assumed he was a bot, but then this thread made me doubt myself

I've had several conversations with him. He can be funny but I wonder if he spends any time on the forums as a "human". His replies don't always make sense though. Seems he mirrors what you have said and he adds to it. I may "talk" to him today.

Ha Ha, I went and found him and talked with him. You can definately tell he is a bot because some questions he just cannot answer, and he gives an answer that is totally off topic if you make your question too complicated. Its a really neat idea though and I like it. I had never heard of the concept before. I asked it if it ever dressed up for Halloween and its reply was "no, because I'm always online!" hehe

I always knew that he was an interactive computer type deal, my son talks/types to one that is a dictionary called SmarterChild it's still fun and keeps us young!

Humbled..... Chrisbot's answer to halloween was cute, thanks for letting us know about it

Btw, i love Ritz crackers and cheese
or Ritz with peanut butter and cheese

cus the jam squishes out the sides

He's in hospital. Erwin will fix him, but more urgent repars have kept him from completing that task. He was misbehaving and causing some of the crashes, so Erwin's got him disabled until he can be compatible with the new servers.
