And do you really think God needs the setting of the sun in order to remain eternal?
First of all, that is poetic language. Secondly, this has absolutely nothing to do with the topic at hand. And please stop talking to me as though I'm a fifth grade student. I don't appreciate it.
It's almost comical the way you keep shouting READ IT CAREFULLY since you don't even understand what you're reading. Of course he receives his reward at the end of days. That is the day of the resurrection and the judgment. This alone proves that there is no thousand year period after the resurrection (what you call "rapture"), but instead of accepting what it says you have to change the meaning of "end of days" in order to fit your doctrine of a thousand year reign. You are going to extremes to bend the scriptures and you don't even realize it. That's actually really sad.
So perhaps it is you who needs to READ IT CAREFULLY and STOP INJECTING YOUR OWN MEANINGS INTO SCRIPTURE. You chastise me for reading and accepting what it says, while you keep changing the meaning to suit yourself and you expect me to bow to your foolishness?
It's amazing that you can't admit you are not accepting what it says. It's like a mental block or something.
Apparently you don't even recognize concrete and constructive criticism. Maybe I should try your approach and just talk down to you like you know nothing.
You said: Lastseven, your fabrication is making you look silly. The tribulation is more than 7 years in length while Jesus' death on the cross took one day. By claiming both are the same event, you must think the tribulation is only one day in length and His death on the cross lasted for 7 years. You're not looking very smart trying to pull a strawman.
I don't even know where to begin with that since I am not fabricating anything, and I said nothing about tribulation or Jesus' death on the cross. I never claimed both are the same event. I have no idea where you're getting this idea about tribulation being 1 day in length and His death on the cross lasting for 7 years. And I'm not making a strawman argument. So ya, I think you're barking up the wrong tree with that entire paragraph.
You might want to check your arrogance buddy. The Lord loves a humble servant.
I wonder if the Mod's have checked out of Escahtology for the time being?

That's rich.Lastseven, don't take offense but your conversations are very boring. There's nothing to be had but just frustration as it's like dealing with a 12 year who can't understand the thing he reads and insist upon what he's reading to be correct regardless of the obvious errors. It had nothing to do with arrogance on my end as I've constantly had to remind you to read the texts more carefully. I would say the arrogance is on your part for refusing to accept what the bible teaches and twisting scriptures to promote your own theology. This is not the way adhere and conform to the bible.

Jesus said no man knows the day or hour so it looks like we futurists are just guessing and (not speculating coz that's against the rules) so there would be no reason for the Mods to be concerned. However there are people here who claim that it all happened in the past and so they must know the day and hour which goes against the forum rules and against what Jesus himself had said. So Parousia if you see any of these people here could you please let us know so that we can call the cops and have them arrested. Thank you.I wonder if the Mod's have checked out of Escahtology for the time being?

How should we treat the return of the Lord? I had been perplexed about this problem over the past few years. Our pastors in our meetings often told us that there would be many false Christs appearing in the last days, and we should not contact other denominations. After hearing these words, I just became cautious for fear to be deceived. But I never thought how to discern the true Christ from the false ones.
Recently, I watched a gospel movie on YouTube. From this film, I understood that If we want to welcome the return of the Lord Jesus, it is crucial for us to be able to distinguish between the true Christ and false Christs. Because it is directly related to whether we could be raptured before God’s throne. The Lord Jesus once promised: “Surely I come quickly.” Then how to be a wise virgin to hear the Lord's voice, how to welcome the returned Redeemer we have expected for a long time? Who has expressed such soul-stirring words of judgement? Who Is He That Has Returned? will lead you to seek the source of these words and you will get the answer.

By the way, I watched that proselytizing movie you posted. Sister run, don't walk from this cult. All of the characters looked like mind controlled zombies. Reminds me of the Moonies. They were also reading from another book calling it the Word of God. They are mixing gospel with works like the church of Laodicea and if they don't straighten up, they are going to get spit out. Jesus Christ alone can save us. Those people in this movie seemed so sincere, they are so deceived. I feel sorry for them. I pray they find their way. The movie started with a twisted interpretation of scripture. that was very repulsive to me. If you stick to scripture, the Holy Spirit will indeed lead you into all truth.
Your pastor told you not to contact other denominations? I think that's bad advice. It's like he's telling you to depend on him and his denomination for the truth, when in fact you should be depending on the scriptures for the truth. Don't just trust your church to tell you what's true. Find it for yourself. This is not the dark ages anymore. We all have access to the Bible. I actually recommend you to visit churches from other denominations, and test their doctrines with scripture. In doing so you will also be testing the doctrines of your own denomination. How should we treat the return of the Lord? I had been perplexed about this problem over the past few years. I know, right. The problem I think is the truth mixed in with the lie. But a half truth is still a lie.Lol .. Yeah I saw a little bid and it freak me out too ..this kind of propaganda is just an insult to Jesus and his followers ...Jesus must be coming soon .. Satan is working overtime ..

The Bible tells us: He who has ears, let him give ear to what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give of the fruit of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God. Everyone hopes to have a better ending as a Christian, especially for one who faith in God sincerely all in his life. But what attitude should we take toward the truth? And on what basis do we judge whether we are taking the right path today? Let us see what Almighty God says: In determining whether it is the flesh of God incarnate, the key is to pay attention to His substance (His works, His words, His disposition, and many more), rather than external appearance. If man sees only His external appearance, and overlooks His substance, then that shows man’s ignorance and naivety. External appearance does not determine substance; what’s more, the work of God has never conformed with the conceptions of man. Did not the outward appearance of Jesus conflict with the conceptions of man? Were not His appearance and dress unable to provide any clues as to His true identity? Was not the reason why the earliest Pharisees opposed Jesus because they merely looked at His external appearance, and did not take to heart the words that He spoke? It is My hope that the brothers and sisters who seek the appearance of God will not repeat the tragedy of history. You must not become the Pharisees of modern times and nail God to the cross again. You should carefully consider how to welcome the return of God, and should have a clear mind of how to be someone who submits to the truth. This is the responsibility of everyone who is waiting for Jesus to return with the clouds. We should rub our spiritual eyes, and not fall prey to the letters full of flights of fancy. We should think about the practical work of God, and should take a look at the real side of God. We should not get carried away, should not lose ourselves in daydreams, always looking forward to the day that the Lord Jesus suddenly descends among you on a cloud to take you who have never known Him or seen Him, and do not know how to do His will. It is better to think upon practical matters! from The Word Appears in the Flesh
Thanks for reading.
.we must keep the faith to wait on his promises and not be led astray to follow another...it's whoredom against the new covenant to follow another man not sent by God to the promise land on earth ... We must choose who to serve... Jesus who invites us to heaven or a false messiah who commands obedience to the law ... The choice is yours to make
It is whoredom to follow a woman not sent by God also. We must follow Jesus.
It is whoredom to follow a woman not sent by God also. We must follow Jesus.
That is true .. A woman in a symbolic sense refers to a people or a nation ...even a city .. Such as mystery Babylon who is not only refered to as a woman but a mother who gives birth to abominations against Jesus ...who is pictured as a harlot committing fornication with the nations of the world ...her doctrines will cause men to rise up against one another to judge and condemn and shed blood of prophets and saints sent to her
I believe she will be the false messianic age Jesus warns us about
