CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I think that there are times you have to walk away from a crush. There have been guys that I was interested in but after finding out that they were married or in a serious relationship I had to forget about them. It is not good to have a crush on someone that is already committed as it puts you in a hard situation and there is no possibility of a relationship. It can also has negative implications for the person you have a crush on.
You have to ask yourself what good would a real relationship do either you and if it does no one any good then it is time to leave it with God.

Thats a fantastic post! You are right - when are too busy focusing on what we don't have in our lives we forget all the good that we have. I think that I am going to have to re-evaluate my crush and move on from there. Thanks for the post and reps to you.
