I know who she is (well, not 100% sure, but 99.9%), and I have always thought you two could make a good couple.

An asexual crush is me finding someone really cool and getting all giddy when I think of them, hoping that they "like" me (of course, I never realise or think that liking someone also results in sexual thoughts....) and being semi-obsessed over them (i.e. thinking about them, as in, stuff like what are they doing, was that smile meant for me, etc) and getting giddy over the thought of you dating... in a non-sexual way

I think I must be borderline asexual, cause this is exactly how I feel, too lol. Well, I know I'm not asexual, cause I know, when I'm in love, I want intimacy on every level. I'm not sure what I'd define myself as. I think sex is great and fine, but it's wayyyyy on the back burner of priorities for me when I'm married. I want it, but I don't want it to be expected, demanded, routine, etc. I never, ever want my sex life to consist of "eat dinner, kids to bed, brush teeth, turn off light, have sex, go to sleep"...GOD FORBID, I'd rather be single!!! I want it to be sudden, spontaneous, and sparse. I know. Weirdo.

Do you guys ever think that maybe your "asexual" status is a blessing from God, keeping you from temptation and sin UNTIL you find the right person and marry them? Then a major floodgate of "WHOA..." will be released on the honeymoon? In other words, maybe you aren't asexual at all; maybe your brains are doing things the right way?

that is kind of how I feel about my current crush, want to hear the funny part? I can kinda be a pervert at times, so this chaste way of thinking is not my default setting

I just figured I had finished my daily dose of rejection when I got through the responses to job applications in my email:

"We're sorry, the position has been filed."

"We are furthering discussions with more qualified candidates at this time."

"We received over 6,000 applications for this position and will be in touch at a later date."

"Go to hell, loser."

I think I'm going back to bed now. Maybe I'll wake up on the right side of the bed next time.

thats pretty much how i am when i get crushes. there's nothing sexual about it and IMHO thats how it should be.. sex clouds things and it should never be the main focus when pursuing a relationship. When i get a crush on someone, i'll think they're attractive, but its not like I want to jump them or anything they just interest me and i am intrigued enough to want to get to know them more.
