I've felt bad for him before. I don't think he was evil. Sometimes I think that he was a fall guy.

I am sure Jesus forgave him. Judas wasn't all that bad and deserves to be in heaven. At least, he was humble enough to acknowledge his mistakes ... how many of us do that?
While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
Jesus called Judas the son of perdition. He also called him a devil:
John 6:70-71 "Have not I chosen you Twelve, and one of you is a DEVIL?
So you are saying Jesus didn't really mean it when He called him the devil and the son of perdition (son of perdition is also used to describe the devil)? He was just being poetic? It is called hyperbole. Sometimes, poets do that to emphasize the evil nature of certain acts. Not to be confused with theological speculations...

In regards to Christian theology and Christian belief, in the story I actually do feel sorry for Judas.Shalom,
While reading the gospel, do you ever feel sorry for Judas? I know he did a bad thing and all, but do you feel he was a good man who was tricked into doing a bad thing? A really evil and heartless man wouldn't have felt remorse - enough remorse to hang himself. An evil man would've enjoyed watching Jesus (or anyone else, for that matter) suffer; he wouldn't have felt so much regret and guilt.
Not supporting Judas or his actions, but was he really all that bad? All disciples betrayed Jesus, even Peter denied him. We're okay with that, yet we seem to be unforgiving with respect to Judas.
