I think it's more a matter of guys not taking the initiative...girls are most likely not going to approach you, guys. lol. It seems like a simple concept for a guy to just talk to a girl he's interested in or wants to get to know. I mean, I'm not even close to being the prettiest girl at my church or most charming or whatever, but the guys will just stand there and look at me like I'm an alien most of the time, like they want to talk to me and find out who the new girl is, but they won't due to shyness or being a wuss. That irks me. Maybe that's why I typically fall for the more outgoing guys...they are more likely to approach girls than the other guys.

I'm not shy, I'm just overweight. lol...which makes me more shy than I should be. I'm also under the impression that unless "church girls" expect to hear audibly from God, they aren't even going the FLIRT with you. But some girls let you flirt a little but that's as far as it gets. They play very hard to get (at least in my church and other a/g churches).

Hm... marked as in cursed? I don't think so...
But marked as in, set apart and protected, I would have to say yes. There have been so many close calls when my life could have been snuffed out right then and there, but God still intervened. I had three significant relationships with girls, every single one failed, and looking back over where God has led me in life, I can praise HIM for those failures, even though they hurt like a bugger when I was going through them.
