CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Faithfulness, honesty, honor, and consistency of all the above after the "newness" of her body and mind wear off and reality sets in, sticking with her when her face starts to get wrinkly and doesn't turn you on like it used to...that's basically what you promise at a wedding...it's also essentially loving her as Jesus would.
I can't say I understand what a woman really wants (that would be gross generalization), but from what I hear girls don't want to be "rescued;" they just want to be accepted and loved for who they are. Now when I say "for who they are" I mean accepting and loving the little idiosynchrocies of their life, like if they enjoy Star Wars or going to flea markets or shyness...I'm not talking about accepting folly like harsh negativism, pride, or someone who "plays you." Avoid girls like that, please. A real woman is always trying to change for the better and always willing to absorb advice, even if it is not heeded because it really is dumb advice (such as "always drink beer when it's offered to you"). Oh, those women who are willing to change and adapt to please God and for the sake of others are REAL dream women. I'm sure it's the same concept with real men. It's something I strive for everyday.

Hmmmm...that's better. Now you're on the right track. There are many girls who can or WILL fit your criteria, but never EVER forget that even then, it still must go both ways. You have to make yourself "criteria-worthy" for that girl to. Don't just think about what SHE can be for YOU. Think about what YOU can be for HER. I've found there are some guys that I would have never thought I'd like...because I always thought I knew what I wanted and needed in a spouse. But God always brings different types of guys into my life to blow me away and my notions of what I want or need out of the water.

why thank you there are some things I would like out of a guy... but what I want and what I think I would like are two different things... man and woman are made to complement each other... and so the Lord may give me a man that's totally opposite of what I am so we can help each other in all areas. Or then again, he may give me someone totally like me (Lord help us if you do - 2 overly competitive, proud, I can do anything, opinionated people - it just would not be pretty lol) But either way, I want the Lord's decision more than anything in my life. And THAT i KNOW will be best for both parties
