I bought an dinosaur-egg, it`s said to be around 100 million years old, from the Cretaceous-time, it`s a Segnosaurus-egg, it look a little like T-rex, do you think it`s 6000 years old, still?

People who believe in the gap theory or day ages interpretation of Genesis ignore the obvious reading and intent in order to reconcile a belief in both Christianity and prevalent modern science. Unfortunately, they not only betray Jesus, Peter, Paul and others who affirmed the Old Testament accounts, but they undermine the Bible and entire Christian faith. Do they not know that evolutionary teaching is turning more youths away from their belief in God than any other issue? If one can't believe Genesis, why should they believe the story of Jesus? No wonder. Discredit the Bible and Christianity becomes irrelevant to people. And these days, the Devil's doing that well through the wide teaching and acceptance of evolution.
I am dismayed by the number of professing Christians that will reject the foundational scriptures of their faith in order to accept two opposing belief systems. Despite the claims and intent of theistic evolutionists, it is irrational to suppose that a naturalistic process of disorder and chance could form a universe and all life as we know it while also being done supernaturally through an orderly process. There is no middle ground in this debate. We either accept God's word from the unchanging Bible or man's word from ever changing science.
The ironic thing is that our strongest laws of science actually support creationism over evolutionary theory. And while there is at least some reasonable evidence for an old earth/universe, there is more evidence for a young one. I'll maintain that science has not disproved the Bible, but our secular culture has chosen to reject it, with evolutionary theory being an extremely effective way of doing it.
As a real Christian who actually believes the foundational scriptures of my faith, I must respect the literal, clear meaning of Genesis. To not do so would either be irrational, hypocritical, or ignorant of the issue at hand. Understand, I used to be ignorant myself, believing in the evolution I was taught. But upon actual study of the matter from Bible believing Christian scientists (including some rather smart ones like Isaac Newton), I came to appreciate that God's word in the Bible is specifically and entirely true.
Depending on one's choice of manuscripts, there is some legitimate room for discussion among Bible believing Christians on how old the universe and world is, being between 6-10 thousand years. Given that, I'll mock any claim of a rock layer, dinosaur remnant, or other fossil that's supposedly millions of years old. Is your egg real or not, I can't say. But consider this, if it is a real dino egg, it's just as cool being 10,000 years old as a 100 million.
