Yes, I believe it's a real place and the Bible clearly states this. Those who reject Christ will spend eternity there.Show multiple examples of this then please. Does this ever come from Jesus's mouth? I'm asking for this because Judaism teaches of no such place, nor an in-depth heaven, but one would think if there was a place of eternal punishment he would have warned his "chosen people" of the place so their "souls" shall be saved.

The traditional Christian idea of what some call hell, which I have stated in my post, comes from the Jewish idea of "Olam Haba." This is the most Biblical (and the most traditionally taught and accepted) "hell," if we must call it that.

Of course. Why? Because the Bible mentions it dozens of times, and describes it in horrific detail, more than once.
Matthew 5:22 ..."And whoever says to his brother, ‘Fool!’ will be subject to the Sanhedrin. But whoever says, ‘You moron!’ will be subject to hellfire."
Matthew 5:29 "If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of the parts of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell."
Matthew 23:15 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to make one proselyte, and when he becomes one, you make him twice as fit for hell as you are!"
Luke 12:5 "But I will show you the One to fear: Fear Him who has authority to throw people into hell after death. Yes, I say to you, this is the One to fear!"
Revelation 20:14-15 Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And anyone not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.
Revelation 21:8 But the cowards, unbelievers, vile, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars—their share will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.
Matthew 13:42 They will throw them into the blazing furnace where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Jesus and the Apostles taught it, I believe in it.

Yes, this is pretty much, with your above post, the definition of what I've learned as the closest(didn't watch the video, couldn't load for me) jewish teaching of hell, and it really isn't close to what some christians profess as hell. Far from it be exact.
To the OP: I'm not sure why you're wasting time in this thread. If you don't believe in it then that's your business but you seem unwilling to listen to anyone else, even when they provide scriptures to support their beliefs. This thread seems to serve no purpose other than for you to tell people you think they're wrong.
I honestly don't know what to believe, that's why I made this post. There is a lot inconclusive information out there on christianity and hell. I am just trying to figure this out as best I can with "a community of christians".
What you/others gave me is not "scriptures to support their beliefs", they are scriptures that they interpret the way they want. In no direct way do they prove hell or a eternal damnation. So the jury is still open. And I posted the other stuff because no one was defending the other side, just to try and instigate deeper debate so we can hopefully have more conclusiveness on the topic.
This thread serves GREAT PURPOSE to me. I am not trying to tell or deny anybody what they want to think, I am in this open minded and "want a deeper understanding" of said topic. And as you can see, almost all people who replied believe in a damnation hell except for 1 person who may be closer to the truth given my readings of the bible.
If this is really threatening your beliefs at all and you don't like it, then stay out of the thread. That's the best advice I can give. This is done purely by me for research purposes.
Listening and questioning are 2 different things, especially with inconclusive evidence. Have you ever heard of blind faith?
19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
Again, I'm not trying to be difficult. I just see no evidence that some form of eternal damnation doesn't exist and that rejection of Jesus doesn't hold eternal consequences. Every translation of the Bible I've read or researched has a term for hell.
That's the thing. Jesus not that I can recall EVER mentioned hell, and only 1 of the gospels mentioned it as a place (matthew).
Please prove me wrong if you believe it otherwise.
