hey i know this is a sensitive topic for a lot of people but ive met people who say hell isnt real and that God would never send people to eternal fire if he was a loving God so i decided to put what i believe the bible says on hell

1. Hell is real. it is as real as the floor beneath you and if u r not saved it is your destination for eternity

2. But if hell is real y would a kind and loving god send people there. well u have to remember that hell was NOT originally created for people. it was created for satan and the third of angels that followed him in his failed rebellion. but satan is a sore loser and wants to pull as many people as he can into hell with him. a lot of people believe that satan has no real power but that is a lie. he was given dominion over the earth when adam and eve sinned.

3. so since they sinned we all got a free ticket to hell. but our loving Father sent his one and only son to die for us and take the punishment for our sins so we can get into heaven. but the people who don't believe and reject god's free gift get what they wanted. a life seperated from god or in modern terms hell

4. now why would god create an imperfect world if he could of kept the perfect one? simple answer. choice. God wants us to love and worship him not because we have to or there is nothing else to. he wants us to love and worship him because we want to. but choice is a 2 sided coin. if u have acceptance u also have rejection. and those who reject god's gift do not have the stains of sin washed away thus they cannot get into heaven and must be thrown into the lake of fire

it's scary but what do u guys think?

Well said. The bible is very clear on the issue - Hell is real - a lake of fire.

Yes God is love. But he is also just. And that is what so many people forget.

Is it right for Hitler, murderers and so forth to get off free? No, everyone who sins will be punished unless they receive Christ and he becomes their substitute for sin. It would make God unjust otherwise.

With Christ, God was able to balance his love and his justice, Christ was the answer as to how men (who all sinned) could be redeemed and not have to suffer the penalty for their sin.

From what I've read, most theologians agree that the descriptions of Hell is metaphorical--for something much much worse than lakes of fire. As for how a loving God can do that, well, Hell is simply God being so loving he honors your choice of not wanting anything to do with him. That's what Hell is, it's when God leaves you alone. The misery of Hell is that by being completely separated from God, people are separated from all that is good, and the worst part is they will know that it is their own fault. Those people who are in Hell are miserable, but they refuse to repent and be with God. They would rather be in Hell than serve God, as bad as it is. Hell is simply one's self-centered path going on into eternity. There is a quote that talks about this by C.S. Lewis, but I can't remember it.

Hell is very real. It is eternal. I would recommend a sermon to you guys. It's called "Hell Is Necessary" by Tim Conway. You can find it on YouTube or SermonAudio. C O M or on illbehonest . C O M.

By the way, in order for G-d to be loving He must send people to hell. Think of it this way, I love babies, therefore I hate abortion. In the same way G-d loves the righteous therefore He must hate the wicked. Psalm 5:5 says, "The boastful shall not stand before Your eyes; You hate all who do iniquity." G-d loves and He hates. See Romans 9 where G-d hates Esau and loves Jacob. His special love is only for His elect (true Christians).

However, we must remember not to be like Westboro :). The L-rd does have a common love for all. He sends rain on the just and on the unjust (Matthew 5:45).

I would also recommend "Jesus Doesn't Love Everyone the Same Way" by John Piper. You can find that on YouTube as well.

If you still doubt me you can find all these doctrines taught by our church reformers at monergism . C O M.

Martin Luther believed this doctrine, as well as John Calvin, John Bunion, Augustine, and our early church fathers.

Hope this helps and may the Spirit lead us into all truths.
Grace and peace,
Cody Crabtree

I'd say that what you said is pretty much accurate. I here a lot atheists saying that there is all this pain and suffering in the world and that God does nothing to stop it. What they do not realise is that God gave us freedom to choose him or decline him. Sure, God could just force us to believe in him but that is not his way.

The people who don't believe have made their choice and we have made ours. They chose not to believe and we are our choices.

I am unsure as to whether I believe in Hell. On the one hand, infinite punishment for finite crime is unjust. On the other hand, Demiurge is imperfect and he can afford to be unjust as his only goal is the subjugation of mankind.

I think, however, since Yahweh never refers to Hell that he (Demiurge) must be unable to access it.

So; Hell is real but no human will be sent there because a finite being cannot commit an infinite crime.

Jesus doesn't want to send sinners to hell, but he can.

Demiurge wants to send sinners to hell, but he cannot.

Hell is not real.

Neither is heaven.

When we die, we go to this place called Sheol, it's mentioned in the Scriptures, and it's where the Patriarchs went when they said they'd be "gathered with their forefathers."

It's like a holding pen basically, with a bad and good side. I believe you know your fate when you're there, and if you're condemned, you are in misery knowing such a thing (such as the rich man asking the poor man for water).

Then, on Judgment Day, God casts the condemned into the Lake of Fire, and at that point I believe they just cease to exist.

We don't go to heaven in the traditional idea of the word.

After Tribulation (there is no Rapture either. It's not even Scriptural whatsoever. If there is one, it's at the very very end, not before all the crap goes down), there is the Eighth Day, or the Millennial Kingdom. At that point, we still are upon earth, but it is restored, as are our bodies. After that is the New Heaven and New Earth. We reside on the New Earth, not in heaven, that is God's domain. Who are we to think we go there?

I'm not basing this off of opinions at all... it's all Scriptural.

Yeah, this is kinda my view on the whole "Heaven vs Hell" debate. I do think we do spend some time in Heaven, but it may only be during judgement. Anywho, does it matter in the grand scheme of things? Live your life to God's glory, and whether he sends you to New Vegas on the New Earth, or in a penthouse in downtown Heaven, it doesn't matter. We are still going to have a grand time, with no stopping.
