Aww poor pup. I hope the vet can help her. At my vet's recommendation, I used to feed my dog cooked rice when she had diarrhea. Maybe ask your vet about that.

Kinda wanted to give you an update on our pup to FaithPrevails. The vet isn't entirely sure what is going on, but for now we're going with Colitis. So she is to go 36 hours without food and then 3 days of the chicken/rice diet. Also gave us metronidizole (sp?) to give her to come her down.

Did he advise you to continue with the chicken/rice diet? Poor thing. It's like having a sick baby. You know something is wrong, but they can't tell you what it is and you can't always accurately figure it out. Saying a prayer for your pup.

Once the three days are up he said to start the chicken/rice diet and then we can assess the situation at that point.
