sir, the veil was rent - no disrespect, what I do and what I do not do is between me and the Lord - I need 'confess' to no one.....
Amen! Where there is no law, there is no transgression. Thank God for Jesus, who takes away the sin of the world! What would we be guilty of if their was no law that applied anymore. Just exactly what would we be guilty of without the law?

So god gave us a requirement that we can never keep?I didn't know anyone can keep the commandments.

Can not do so on our own, that is more the reason Paul states that it is Spiritual. So declare to me, why would that which is Spiritual be abolished while we are to be possessed by the Spirit? So do we obey the law or the 10 out of our fleshly will?
It was part of the 10 written with God's own Hand. He refused to let Moses write it, even after Moses broke it. Does that not tell you how important it is to God. The Sabbath is part of that. God certainly did not change it. Why would Jesus not change it Himself if there were to be a change? Why keep it Himself? Don't say because He was a Jew, He is our example first. Being a Jew was not more important to Jesus than doing the will of God.Personally I don't think there is anything wrong with the 10 commandments until you believe you have to follow them to attain salvation. That is legalistic. They obviously can't save you because you can't live without breaking them.
For those who don't practice the Sabbath as dictated by Mosaic law in the OT - it doesn't mean they disregard it. I believe the requirements for observing the Sabbath have changed.
Of course. You may not think so,you maybe in fact sincere but does not mean you are correct. We can not be on opposite side and both be right. Paul saw himself as "right" and Jesus had to put him in the " light".Depending on the context within which you speak of them, of course. For example, if you're saying "We should always respect the U.S. President", that would encompass Obama, Bush, and anyone else who filled that position. If you're speaking about Canada in terms of what other countries border it, then you would inevitably be talking about the USA at some point in that discussion.
"The 10" as in "Commandments" are only a part of the Law. Again, to separate them is to pick and choose. To pick and choose is to keep "the whole" law and stumble at (way more than) just one point.
Seriously? Those who view things differently than you do are "dishonest" and not "standing up for right and righteousness"? You honestly believe that Elder?!

And includes the ten!Walking in faith with love is soo much better than walking in the 10. For we do not commit adultry because it is written in the 10 but out of love for our neighbor and not only do we not commit adultry we pray for their marriage to be healed so adultry isn't even a temptation.Love covers so much more than the 10.
IF the law could have been kept then there would not have been the need for Christ. For all men have sinned. This is why we are to walk in faith through Love. For it is Christ in us the very hope of glory. Nothing to do with the 10 or the law. For even they could not save the Jews. Christ had to come and redeem mankind of their sins to all who have Christ and all those who will have Christ. So god gave us a requirement that we can never keep?
Or as some, wrongfully insist, that He gave the Jews a requirement that no one can ever achieve? God is a unreasonable God then.

Hebrews 8:7 said:For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion to look for a second.
Hebrews 4:9-10 said:So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered Gods rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.
Jesus said:Which one of you who has a sheep, if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will not take hold of it and lift it out? Of how much more value is a man than a sheep! So it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.
So then are you achieving to keep the 10? And if you are striving to do this what is your reward? Can not do so on our own, that is more the reason Paul states that it is Spiritual. So declare to me, why would that which is Spiritual be abolished while we are to be possessed by the Spirit?

It includes Gods love shed abroad in our hearts by the HS. Not by the letter of the law which the 10 are only a part of.. For the law was for the Isrealites which I am a gentile saved by the very Grace of God through Christ who was slain and His Spirit within me as the gaurantee. The law had nothing to do with me coming to know Christ nor does it have anything to do with me now to come to know God.More than just the 10 came from the Lord, however.God made a big difference in the laws. Note for one that He wrote the 10 Himself. The 10 was place in the Mercy seat where He sat, the others were placed to the side. The bible never attempted to make them one, we did.
Which kind of love? There are different types, you see. What happens if say... I loved to kill people, or I loved to steal from Wal-Mart. I did it out of love!

I have another idea... check 1 Corinthians 13 for the Bible-Approved type of love, and you have your answer!Which kind of love? There are different types, you see..
