What does "reconciling" have anything to do with whether we should continue in sin or not?
Reconciliation only comes for those who repent.
"IF we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)
But you Frog don't accept that breaking the Ten Commandments is sin, so how can you be reconciled for it? You can't, because you don't believe they are binding.
"Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord." (Hebrews 12:14)
No one will see the Lord without sanctification.
Also notice:
"When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: GO, AND SIN NO MORE." (John 8:10,11)
Is that clear enough?
We are reconciled for repentant sins, but we are commanded to "go and sin no more".
Reconciliation only comes if we recognize that we sinned, and we ask for forgiveness. But God will turn his ear away from us if we continue to "willfully sin".
"My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for [the sins of] the whole world. And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked." (1 John 2:1-6)
It says:
1. IF we sin, we have an advocate with the father. But this advocate only helps if you confess your sins according to 1 John 1:9
2. We are to "walk as Jesus walked". So it's not that "he did it all so we don't have to do it". NO, He paid it all meaning we don't have to DIE THE SECOND DEATH if we repent! If Christ hadn't of died, no matter how good we were, none of it would mean anything.
3. It says that he who does not keep His commandments
is a liar. Revelation 21:8 says liars are going to the Lake of Fire.
Please don't complain how long my post is
Frog.

I've seen some of your posts longer than this one.
