are led by the Spirit of God shall be called the sons
of God!
And if you're led by the Spirit of God, what you WANT
to do, ends up being whatever you know GOD wants
you doing...
That's how it works for me anyhow , amen?
Sounds like it would be no fun, but it's really just the opposite.
It's actually non stop joy when you're not crying out for someone's
pain of course.. or putting out fires.. or listening to folks woes...
Or engaged in combat on the front lines...

that God takes my stumbles...and uses even them, and does it through His grace....

i CANNOT keep the 10 commandments....so i gots lots o' runnin back to Him, seeking forgiveness and getting reassurance that they were kept by the ONE Who COULD keep them, and became my PROXY on that cross, when all those oppressive "laws" were nailed right there to that cross, as that curtain in the Temple tore straight down the middle, and GRACE stepped in, and wrapped around us like a warm, protective blanket. We have a CHAMPION, Who took on the laws, fulfilled them, and resurrected our re0union with our holy God, our Father, and we can NOW walk with Him, side by side....and bring ALL of our stumbles and bumbles to Him, just as a small child would do.....

God, in His inexplicable, perfect, simplicity, says right here what He requires, and it is this:

"He hath shewed thee, O man, what [is] good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?" ~Micah 6:8

All kidding aside I do believe that we should obey the ten commandments but not in the legalistic framework of the Pharisees. Rather we should follow Jesus's teaching when he said that to lust in your own heart after another woman is to commit adultery and holding hate against another is equal to murder. Remember that Jesus did not come to bring an end to the law but to fulfill it. The commandments are no longer understood through the lens of legalism but rather through our heart in faithful service to Christ. Thus we now follow the ten commandments in a very simple sense, we are called to Love our God with all our hearts souls and minds and to love our neighbor as ourselves. If we do this in all the ways God desires we will fulfill the ten commandments.

In Matthew 5 we saw that the law included more than the ten. In Romans 7 the law included more than the ten.

Also in James the law includes more than the ten.

Jas 2:8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
Jas 2:9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
Jas 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
Jas 2:11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

When we look at this in detail, first James includes the "royal" law, love your neighbor as yourself.

Jas 2:8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:

this is not just a quote of Jesus, but is also from Deuteronomy. Hence Jesus pointed it out as one of the two great commandments IN the law.

Then he references breaking the law.

9but if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as transgressors.

Why does he say you are convicted by the law if you show partiality?

Deu 1:17 You shall not be partial in judgment. You shall hear the small and the great alike. You shall not be intimidated by anyone, for the judgment is God's. And the case that is too hard for you, you shall bring to me, and I will hear it.'

The great and small are to be treated alike. Partiality is forbidden in the law, again, not in the 10 commandments, but in Deuteronomy.

10For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.

This goes beyond the ten. But also includes the ten as the next section shows:

11For He who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. 12So speak and so do as those who will be judged by the law of liberty.

The references to the "law" by Jesus, James, Paul, go beyond just the ten.

You have a specific reference to the ten in chapter 7as it quotes the command against coveting:

Rom 7:7 What then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. For I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, "You shall not covet."

But at the beginning of his argument in the same chapter he references another point in the law which is not from the ten.

Rom 7:1 Or do you not know, brothers--for I am speaking to those who know the law--that the law is binding on a person only as long as he lives?
Rom 7:2 For a married woman is bound by law to her husband while he lives, but if her husband dies she is released from the law of marriage.
Rom 7:3 Accordingly, she will be called an adulteress if she lives with another man while her husband is alive. But if her husband dies, she is free from that law, and if she marries another man she is not an adulteress.

The release of marriage upon death of a spouse is not referenced in the ten. Paul is talking about the whole law.

Adventists consistently overlook references to the whole law and substitute the ten commandments.

Note that Jesus did not say there were not needed, He said one thing you lack, in other words add this to the law, not remove the law.

Why would that be? Sunday is a working day. Sabbath is the day not to work. but behold, Jesus healed on the Sabbath.
True Sabbath keeper take care of the needs of people on the Sabbath including nurses and doctors. Did you not know that?
Check with anyone you may know or ask a question. Sabbath keeping is not what you make it out to be, or what the Jews made it out to be. Jesus set the example.
It is a sin to leave a need (not a want) undone on the Sabbath. Just like you plan for everything else you plan for the Sabbath.
