Is that not how the ten commandments are structured? Do not the ten commandments show love in action?

In a sense yes they do if you can keep them but no man can Ro. 3:23 all fall short because all sin to keep the commandments is to not sin...and with no sin you do not need a saviour....which would contradict the purpose of Jesus.

This is why I think the law was given to give us an indepth view of what sin really is to God...as far as transgressing goes God knows that know man can keep them by his own free will...for if u commit one u commit them all even today...so in my opinion the commandments are there to point us to Christ...to surrender our will to the Father.

There are the ones you keep, the same ten commandments. Oh but you will only confess to keeping 9 or seek to keep 9.

Forgive me Elder, but this confused me because God says if u commit one then you commit them all...what do you mean by confess or seek to keep 9?

Maybe I am reading into this wrong....help me understand please

And the law was also given to live by. The verse below demonstrates Paul teaching us to obey the 7 th commandment, the last 6 commandments are taught by Jesus and the apostles. The first three commandments are no brainers and the only one in contention is the sabbath. I don't understand the obsession over not following the law when its taught by Jesus and the apostles that we should live by the law. I understand that we are free from condemnation of the law but we are still taught to live by it in the new covenant. Its not something we just throw out, its our law, it accompanies the law of Grace and the law of love hangs on it. We don't fulfill the law of love by breaking the law of the 10 Cs.

1 Corinthians 7:39 The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.

It is yes and with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit we can. If we can not then we can not truely love either. Love demands action and if we can not act it out then we fail.

I mean that is what most people do, not what I accept.
Person say the law is abolished but keep 9 because they want to escape the sabbath.

Isa. 58
12And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
13If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:

It is a day to put aside the world and self. Do good to men and worship God. It a day to God.
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

This work is for personal benefit, self, money gain, but you notice that Jesus helped the sick, so that the sabbath is not a day to neglect helping those in need or leave the dying to die.

If that's the case then all days are to be given to God or at least carried out with him in the forfront of the mind behind your decisions...so is everyday the sabbath...I believe that all things belong to God including my time so anytime I spend not considering him is time that I must ask for forgiveness for because I can always pray a very quick prayer or read quick verse just to keep God fresh in my mind...

In that case are you telling God you know better than Him?

No...I'm simply saying that we are to surrender our will to him everyday not just on one day by seeking Him because your prior post says on the sabbath that we can't do anything of ourselves that will bring us pleasure.

Well to be Christ like is to mimic Jesus as best we can and Jesus never did anything of himself only the Will of the Father.

First who is Isaiah speaking to?

Second do you require work of anybody on the sabbath besides the minister at your church? If so you break and violate the sabbath. Do you do business on the sabbath?

It says that someone is bound to the law as long as they live. Therefor the law exists and is not thrown away.

1 Corinthians 7:39 The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.
I guess that you're insisiting that the old man is raised from the dead with Christ. Romans 6 and 7 discuss the issue. The new man isn't bound by the law of the old that the old man (the flesh) was bound to. Remember Jesus said you must be born again - John 3. So this idea didn't originate with Paul.

Please explain how Paul teaches us to keep the law. He says we're delivered from it. He says to throw it out. He doesn't advocate circumcision. He doesn't advocate keeping the sabbath. He doesn't advocate kosher or only eating clean meats. He jumps all over Peter for being a hypocrite in the matter for living like a gentile. That would certianly deviate from the law. I don't think that Paul was out to destroy Peter. He didn't condemn Peter for living like a gentile.
