I voted "YES! We are special and need to exclude them from our specialness"-- with me tongue FIRMLY embedded in me cheek.
I was, of course, thinking of teh fundy types as the ubiquitous "them" in the equation. Non-Christians are always "us" to me; they are still human and capable of recognizing their own intrinsic subjectivity.

I vote for a chalk circle.

I heard a priest recommend once that we draw a chalk circle on the ground, stand in it and pray. I fell about laughing at the idea, and next Christmas gave him a box of chalks for a present. He put me off Celtic Christianity for life!!
