Hi Everybody

Ok.. I had to find a site where Christians might be able to help me interpret this dream. I have already prayed about it, and I know that God will give me the answer.. Maybe through one of you.

Last night, my friend and I went to a church to pray in the parking lot about some health issues that I've been having. I ended up falling asleep in the car, though I wasn't tired when we got there. I woke up a few hours later (still in the parking lot), after having the strangest dream. I was holding a baby, and it appeared to be a girl about 7-8 months old. She started crying, so I laid her down and started rubbing her stomach to try and calm her. I was tickling her, and she would alternate between crying and smiling. Suddenly, she looked up at the sky and said "Okay," as if speaking to someone. Then she turned to me and looked me in the eyes and said- "It's over now. I get to watch you grow up now," in an adult voice. The voice coming out of her wasn't that of a female, but it wasn't a booming God-like voice either. After she spoke to me a little boy ran up to me and tackled me to the ground in a hug and I held his head against my chest. She disappeared and I looked up at the sky. There were clouds outlined in gold as if the sun were shining directly behind them.

So, that's it... I am completely lost and would appreciate any interpretations that you may have. Thank You!

Please pray about this, if it's not what the Holy Spirit reveals to you, please toss it.
Encouragment was, what first came to my mind. Maybe it is the start: encouraging others. Maybe it is preparing time, a growing up to another ministry.

These were my first thoughts. I'm going to pray more about your dream.

That was my first thought. But many people have prophecies years before they happen. It seems the event of a child leaving this world would be so traumatic, it would be helpful to have this advance warning that it was going to be okay, despite the loss. And reassurance that a second child will come.

On the other hand, many people dream of projects and ministries as children. Watching you grow up is confusing in this setting, but imagine if you started a business, then sold it off to a larger company, and started a different business. She looked up -- not necessarily heaven, but possible a higher authority or larger entity.

When she suffered, you countered her sadness with cheer. Imagine taking on a challenging classroom and making the choices in how to handle them. Then you were sad to let them go, but they still knew where to find you.

I could be afield on this, but this is my impression.

The child represents painful issues you have carried from your childhood. You have been nursing them, trying to look on the good side, trying not to dwell on the pain, etc. But in a kairos moment a spiritual sea-change will come on you and you will become free of all of it. You no longer will have to draw on your energy to try to avoid experiencing pain and loss. Instead, you will be free to mature to the level God wants for you.

The little boy seems to say that you will be able to cherish and hold onto the delightful and fun side of your past, without any of its cares. The good memories will be dear to your heart, as they should be.

The cloud scene would be an affirmation from on high that all this is God's good plan for you. Don’t fear change, of either the inward or outward kind. Whatever growing pains you experience will be well worth it. These clouds' linings are not even of silver, but rather, gold, emphasizing the purity of God's design for you.

I was in a twilight state this morning recounting some dreams I had had, when it came to me that the boy signifies the beginning of a new ability to be vulnerable to love. As such, the dream indicates that once the issues from the past are resolved by the revelation of God, you will be free to live the abundant life (cf Dan 4.34-ff). This is God's gift to you, and He's saying not to mind any clouds you have to put up with at the moment. Walk in faith and patience, and inherit the promise. Add your Amen to God's Yes.

Hi Dana,
Obviously I can only go by what you have stated.
I have prayed that the Lord will guide you regarding your dream, but sometimes dreams are just dreams.
for my part, as a viewpoint the baby being and expression of God as someone you can relate to. I.e an angel but looking like the baby so's not to intimidate or cause you to worry. The boy something that you are holding on to that is causing you the pain inside, and that it is finally released. Hence the gold clouds, that you will get recovery and peace from God.
I say this because when I was going through difficulties, I had a dream and I believe The Lord appeared to me as a supervisor I had who told me " not to worry" but to " trust in him" I believed this to be the Lord representing himself through my supervisor ( in the dream ) in a fashion I could relate to.
The situation improved, as did my walk with the Father.

Thank you again Paul1149, and thank you Snakebite. It's crazy how both of your posts could actually pertain to something that I've been going through. The Lord works in mysterious ways. All I can do is wait on Him and keep praying. Either way, both of your responses have given me something postitive to think about. Thank you for your prayers and get well wishes also, Snakebite. God's will be done.

give suck ... babes ... the Truth will be VERY hard to find ... it will be easy to be decieved if not grounded ...

hence don't be harvested out of season ... harvest doesn't take place in the winter ... (next verse)

because he hath set his love upon me ... it seems you've begun to speak of him ... maybe bolder ...

it feels like He is confriming something ... perhaps you were feeling a little insecure in Him ... not sure ...

may He bless you on the way ... He came to deliver and to save and all of it ... and so it is ... He doesn't change His mind ...

I am curious as to whether your illness/symptoms have improved since the dream, and also if you remember what was said that "stood out", by the others in their prayers over you in that parking lot.

I was struck by the "calming" that was given and the stomach/belly, in the Word, is the seat of our emotions/heart/feelings.

You have my prayers today along with the others here for your full recovery.
