ok, so no hell just a figurative lake of fire, and no forever, just ages upon ages. I wouldn't advise rejecting Jesus for a life of ages of ages in a figurative lake of fire. I don't think it makes any difference if one believes either one as to their deterent effects.Hell is really what is meant by the "mysterious of Godliness".
“For, behold, the mystery of godliness, how great is it! For, behold, I am endless, and the punishment which is given from my hand is endless punishment, for Endless is my name.
Here is a key point from an indepth article on the subject.[wash my mouth]
“How fortunate it is that in the mercy of God there will be comparatively few who will partake of this awful misery and eternal darkness.”
I have posted a link towards telling you the truth of how a loving God really treats His precious children.
Here's a preview:
[quote:Anonymous Coward 766086] Technically, Jesus never spoke the word "hell", or any of those other red words in our English bibles, because English didn't exist back then. Scripture was originally recorded in Greek & Hebrew. So, enter the hundreds of English translations we now have available, not unlike a minefield of truth and lies. If they all differ in some way, just how faithful can they all be to the original texts? Serious issues here, for those intent on trusting the "bible" for their info.
"Hell" is not hell, and "forever and ever" is not forever. Look into the Greek to verify this.
