CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

No, not really. RC's embrace religion, and they are about 1/2 of Christians, worldwide.

You are not justified to make this presumption about me, and you are not justified to say that God does not love because He does love. Furthermore, you are judging me by what others have said.
My understanding of God is that He gave the authority of damnation to Jesus:
Revelation 1:18
I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.
How much and what do you know of Jesus' policy of judging sinners?

This is why people don't believe in your god or your religion. No one with half a brain would desire to worship such a god. Of course that is what Calvinism says, since god is the one who forces men to believe against their wills. So the world is nothing but a divine playground for your Sovereign god who controls all, good and bad. This is exactly what the Muslims believe about Allah.

This discussion isn't about your beliefs. It's about believing in Calvin and his relation to Christianity. You can believe in pink pixies if you want. It has nothing to do with Calvin or the Christian god. And the Bible does teach the 5 points of Calvin.
