Do I have to be saved again

Hi All,

I've been having continuous bouts of OCD where my mind would take situations and make "bargains" with God, namely with regards to my salvation.

For instance, if I buy this soda with this credit card, then I'm dealing away my salvation. Or if I do this or that, then I'm exchanging away my salvation.

I believe in once saved always saved. But its been really hard lately.

So I just wanted to ask this just for the sake of asking this:

"Do I have to accept Jesus as Saviour again, just so God could hear my prayers?"

Friend God heard you the first time, just recognise who Jesus is and who you are in Him: A beloved child of God, purchased by the blood of His Son, you are loved and forgiven. Read the bible and believe the promises of Christ that are meant for you, blessings.

I sounds to me like you may be having doubts. It is okay to purchase things with a credit card. I also have the same medical conditon you have and in my mind It is like I am bargaining, thinking that if I buy something with my card or spend too much money that I will lose my salvation. That is not true. I gave my soul to Jesus and you have also, so all you have to do is pray, whatever the doubt is or whatever is causing it, and lay it at His feet and ask Him to cleanse you and He will.

I have learned that using a credit card is not a sin nor are you bargaining your salvation by doing so. It sounds like you and I have the same medical condition. I have OCD also and I also have other conditions. If you feel comfortable talking with me further. I will be glad to give you further counseling. I will pray for you as well.
